i have my 05? flints and they are great and i love them but they are seperating slightly and ive been lazy and not fixed them yet but yeah the non reflective black/red XIII retro was trash and wasnt even worth a look at retail

Absolutely one of my favorite shoes of all time. My 04' are not holding up as well as the OGs. Seems like the glue on the retros was not to great...

True. My 98 pair held up great after 12 years. My 2004 pair is in the need of a reglue soon.

Considering pulling the trigger on some DS 04s. How likely or soon would a DS pair soles begin separating after wearing them considering they are 11 years old now?

Funny you posted this... My favorite color scheme of my favorite number J's.... The 13... I'm about to wear mine for the first time today...Deadstock... Probably only been out of the box two or three times honestly... Hope they hold up... Will check back in later to let you know how they did

13 is to me what 11's are to allot of people. I'd say looking back it was without a doubt my most memorable basketball shoe as a kid when I started caring more about shoes.
Black and Red 13
White and Blue Air Penny 2
Black and white Nike Air more uptempo.
Those 3 shoes started it all for me beyond just liking shoes. I always ask myself if the shoes now a days come close in terms of uniqueness and if 10 years down the road we will look at Bron/Kobe retros and think the same thing. Seems like the shoes cater way more towards comfortability then design concept but, again that's how you view most things when you're looking at it in the now.

I love the XIII'S I also doubled up on the Blk/Red's back in 04 abs still have one pair DS. I got the actual Altitudes that were all leather still DS, and recently picked up a grail of mine in the past 6 months the flint XIII'S from 04 DS for $210! I also proudly rocked them today!

Oh the seperating thing...I was worried at first with the 04 flints I copped but mine show no sign or signs of seperation at all.

The OG's were actullay my first pear of J's that a friend sold to me I trashed them glad I was able to pick up the '04s.

Love the xiii and this colorway. I passed on the last retro because they were trash. Got a pair of flints though. Hopefully we get some 13s next year snd this colorway is one of them
