Best Rap Albums past 5 yrs?

These four stand out to me, but it's hard to pick a fifth. Undun, How I Got Over, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, Long Live ASAP. From the Westside with Love. Lots of good albums these last five years.

Man my 5th album off the top of my head to finish my list would prob be From The Westside With Love 2

I LOVE this album.
It's so slept on. Other than Kendrick 2 album this is the best project to come out of TDE.
"Just Like Me" :smh:
"Say Wassup" :wow:
"Finest Hour" :pimp:

If it was 13-14 tracks and he added "Get On Your ****" it would've been a CLASSIC.

Somebody explain something to me. What is the difference between a mixtape and an album to yall?. Mixtapes used to be ninjas rapping over other ninjas beats, has that criteria changed? Because to me as long as the artist hasn't come out and said they're joints that were left on the cutting room floor, and the production is original I don't see why it should be judged differently. On top of the fact that because of sample clearance issues, other legalities etc. You'll find that often times these "mixtapes" are actually the "album" the artist really wanted to make.

^You pretty much answered it. Artists have been releasing a lot of album quality music masked as mixtapes, so they sort of just overlap. That's why I don't mind people listing both albums and mixtapes, cause they're basically the same today.

1) The Return Of 4Eva
2) Piñata
3) GKMC
4) Live. Love. ASAP
5) Rich Forever

Those are the 5 most notable projects to me without scrolling through my laptop and instead going off the top of my head. I'm sure if I did that, maybe 2 projects would change.
