Yea Cousins 1st and George 2nd. Kyrie dropped to me mid 3rd and same with Thomas in the 4th.

My friends and I dont allow any computers in our live draft. Only phones and print outs. Makes things more interesting and alot of players drop into later rounds than they normally would. Carmelo dropped last pick in the 2nd round this year

Agreed. I've maxed out room on my fantasy basketball account, but in all the drafts I've participated in, PGs are really scarce toward the 6th-7th round once Monta/Goran/Isaiah are gone (McCollum probably gone in this round also). You're left with guys like Mudiay, Russell, Kemba, Deron, Rubio. All have upside but their negatives outweigh their good contributions (unless you reach for a Clarkson or Jack)

nice that you followed up kyrie with thomas.

i did a draft like that once and it was very different. i can tell people are sleeping in your draft cause im sure you got Pau in the 5th round. hes a end of 3rd round at least. guess the age is scaring people.

i feel you on the TOs but luckily my league doesnt do percentages so people in my league will probably reach for him.

is he the rookie to target tho? or Okafor? Anthony Towns?

Dude should be # 2 without question. Great in FG % FT % 3PTS PTS AST STL. That's 6 categories that he's great at.

Sorry I was thinking about last year when I got Kyrie in the 3rd lol. Got Pau in the 3rd, Kyrie 4th, Thomas 5th.

I'd only take CP3 over Steph if I was trying to dominate assists but other than that, Steph is either better or equal to CP3 in every other category, with the exception of turnovers.

haha thats still solid though. you got thomas in the 5th and he can give you bottom 2nd round value depending your league catergories

Hey, Steph isn't a bad pick. Just not top 5 for my build on a Season Long. DFS he's great.

CP gives you his line every night.

Steph will have balloon games.

Steph will give you 50 FPS on a night where 25 from him would have got you the win. I bring this up because it makes his averages for the season high or the same as CP but he will have those games where he doesn't give you the # you need to win.

I'll take 5 games of 25 25 25 25 25

Instead of 50 50 10 10 15

Beating someone 200-120 is the same as beating someone 121-120

Just know how you want to build your team and you can make a case for several players to be top 5

I see what you mean. Yeah, I've owned CP before and he's pretty consistent as far as knowing what I'd get out of him night in and night out, although he had a dud week during my championship week the year I had him haahahaa.

my draft is sunday. i got 10th pick. thinking about lillard or thompson. worst case john wall. then follow up with george. i like to get a stud point guard and guard/f early. what strats do you guys use for drafting?

I try to balance out my team as best as I can. Rebs. Points and 3s are easy to find on the wire so I focus less on those stats and go after blocks, steals, and assists. If Kawhi made it back to you on the end, I would Lillard/Kawhi instead. Pop said the ball will be in his hands more this season and even if his scoring takes a dip, he's still a top 3 SF with all his other contributions in steals and fg%

Last season Wiggins was one of the lowest rated fantasy players despite his 36MPG average (no 3s, low REBs/AST numbs). Even though Kobe's coming back from injury, his fantasy game translates better than Wiggins. If Wiggins doesn't add anything to his game this season, he's almost an identical fantasy player to DeRozan (only useful for PTS pretty much, not worth drafting esp in H2H)
 
What's the value of guys like Drummond, Gobert, and Deandre Jordan in H2H points leagues?  I know it's greater because there are no %s but how much greater?

I got Burks in the 12th Rd and Payton in the 10th. I got jrue in the 8th round and if he stays on a minute cap for only a month before turning it up, he could my steal of the draft. Alvin Gentry pace for the Pelicans is going to be fun to watch.
