OFFICIAL 2015-2016 NBA FANTASY BASKETBALL THREAD

Here's my team in a 12 team league. I lucked out on the waiver wire a few times. I feel like it needs a few tweaks but I'm not sure where. Probably with Lavine , Jones and Covington but I feel like they can kinda sit and wait til they get their rhythm back. Any suggestions on how to improve?

I'd go with it. 

Stats-wise Oladipo is better than Clarkson. 

Here's my team:

I want to pickup P.J. Tucker but I'm not sure who to drop at this point. It's between Smith, Dieng, or Nurkic. Dieng seems to be trending down, especially with Pekovic back in the rotation, but something tells me dropping him is a bad idea. The other two seem to be trending up so I'm hesitant to drop them too. I like the numbers Tucker has been putting up with Bledsoe out though. What do, NT?
 
it was either dieng or caspi for me. if caspi doesnt come back soon id consider dropping him but dieng is behind KAT and doesnt get as many minutes as he should. pek will probably get injured but diengs value is still really low.

looks like you lose rebounds every week if i'm correct... maybe move faried & amir for guards to solidify your ft%, assists, & steals

My weakest category is STLs (3-7 over the first 10 weeks) and FG% (2-8) with AST and REB not too far behind (4-6 for both). My strengths are 3pts and FT%

My FA pool is pretty dry. The strongest person i see here is probably Jose Calderon. Al Jefferson is on there as well as Alec Burks due to injury. No one I can really see that would help in AST or FG%  

I was just offered Jordan Clarkson for my MCW. Not sure how I feel about it. I'm a fan of Clarkson so I'm trying to keep my fandom out of play here

id stick with MCW. the bucks will actually have something to fight for later in the season in the east so MCW will need to play when it matters

What @diewitsjames  said. Plus, I believe the Lakers haves one of the worst fantasy playoff schedules. I have Clarkson on my team and I'd gladly trade him for MCW straight up.
 
Who has better prospects for the rest of the season: CJ Miles or Gorgui Dieng? I'm looking to drop one of them in my fantasy points league.

cj miles has more value since he actually gets playtime and will always look to score when hes on the floor. dieng is on and off depending on his minutes which is really frustrating so i'd cut him
 
Got offered Melo for Reggie Jackson and Will Barton in my fantasy points league. Jackson and Barton appear to be trending slightly downward in the past two weeks, but at the same time I'm hesitant that one of them is just in a temporary slump and will come back around. I wouldn't take the trade if it were solely based on their full 2016 season stats.

2016 Season Stats

Melo- 30.6

Jackson- 26.1

Barton- 23.8

Last 15 Days Stats

Melo- 34.8

Jackson- 22.8

Barton- 17.5

What do you guys think?

nah. its way too easy to pick up a PG in FA these days so id stick with melo

whats your team looking like? and how many teams are in the league and whos in your FA? im not too familiar with points leagues but my philosophy is always that if i do a trade i must get the best player in the trade if its a 2 for 1

Agreed with coming out with the better player. That empty roster spot can be used to pick up specialists from week to week.

Oh yeah, I'd do that trade all day. 
Even in a points league, you're still getting elite contributors (two top 50 guys) for a guy who's rank isn't even near his ADP.

Depth matters a lot in points league.

Oh wait just realized it's a points league. This seems like a more valid point. Keep Jackson and Barton. I was thinking take Melo and use the streamer spot for specialists, but that'd only work for categories.
