With AD shutdown I think Asik would be a nice source of rebounds + blocks. Nice stopgap option if Dwight gets hit with a multi-game suspension.

I remember getting laughed at in mock drafts for taking KD over AD. My rationale was that KD prior to his '15 season was the perennial #1 player in FBB. For some reason a majority of fantasy players suffer from severe recency bias and saw KD as some sort of chronically injured liability that would never be the same player.
It was just a ******* jones fracture. Not a big deal whatsoever with proper rest.
Here we are now and AD is shut-down. I find myself laughing at the irony of this because so many people on social media are swearing AD away forever saying they'll never draft him again.
While AD has never played an entire season, it'll be funny if New Orleans puts together a contender next year and he plays 75+ games.

Back in the championship. I was entering Saturday down 8-1 but after my squad put in work that day, I narrowly clinched out the W. Playing the #1 seed next week for the title.

I get to face the #1 seed now in the next round. He beat me twice in the regular season and he has guys like James Harden, Isaiah Thomas, Kyle Lowry, Reggie Jackson, Andrew Wiggins and he scooped up Bojan Bogdanovic literally a day before his 40 point outburst :x....
Needless to say his team is a scoring machine. I got scorers like KD, McCollum, Parsons and Fournier but my strength lies with my bigs Whiteside, Drummond, Thad Young & Dwight Howard (punt FT% & assists).
I got FG%, Rebounds, Blocks and turnovers on lock but I'm looking for that fifth category to edge him out in. Last time we played I narrowly lost points but won 3s. I don't think that'll happen again with him having Bojan in the fold. I scooped McDermott but I don't have much confidence in him. Was pretty competitive with him in the steals category and have since scooped Tony Allen. Elfrid Payton got dropped by his owner a few days ago and returned today but played like ****. I feel like if he gets minutes however the steals will be there though.

I'm a waiver wire scavenger as it is, so losing just adds insult to injury at this point.

Ditto, strongly dislike Dwight Howard IRL but it's fantasy hoops and he's a 2nd round value in my punt FT% build. In other words he's invaluable to my team and losing him for even one game against the top seed would hurt a lot.
Parsons and KD both banged up, here's hoping they can gut it out these next couple of weeks. Season starting to wear on a lot of guys right now.

Wes Matthews and it ain't remotely close. Carlisle already said that Matthews would have an expanded role. His usage rate is about to sky rocket and while he might be inefficient he should be productive off volume alone. I expect a lot of steals, points and treys from him over the next couple of weeks.

Yeah, after that tweet came out about Carlisle saying that, I scooped him up ASAP. I'm a bit nervous just cause he just injured his leg the other game, although he was able to play through it. My playoffs started already so i'm in the round right before the Finals this week so hopefully he gets hot ASAP.
