THANK YOU GSWARRIORS FOR AN AMAZING YEAR...CONGRATULTIONS CLEVELAND CAVALIERS.

Whatever you do, and I know its obvious, don't buy from the scalpers outside of Oracle. Never again :smh:

how much he get you for?

wha happened?

Went to the closeout WCF game vs HOU super last minute w/ my sister and cousin. Got to Oracle during the 1st quarter and bought 3 tix for $100 each. My sister and I were let into the arena no problem, so i'm like :smokin . But then they scan my cousins ticket and BEEP BEEP BEEP, turns out the ticket had been scanned already and was therefore void. Cousin ended up driving to a bar to watch the game and we covered the cost of his fugazi ticket. Meanwhile we go into the arena and it turns out that the seats we bought were not only separated, but were also taken already :smh: . I wasn't gonna approach the people sitting in "my seat" knowing my cousins ticket was fugazi.

All seats were packed so we basically ended up watching from the SRO uppers for $150 each and missed the 1st quarter and like half of the 2nd quarter.

I mean I got to watch most of the game but still, lesson learned. Still feel bad for my cousin

I'm trying to go to my first warriors game this season in Dec. Would you guys recommend buying tickets in advance or the month of? I guess I'm trying to ask if prices go down as game days get closer on ticketmaster.

depends on the team they're playing. if it's just some random team then it'll go down day of the game. I've been late to many games since I buy it an hour or so before the game starts. I also use gametime app if I plan on making my way there without tickets, only used it once so far and had an ok experience with it. but buying it the day of can also backfire, tickets may dry up and get stuck with whatever's left.

but if you're planning on seeing the Cavs or some playoff team, or an eastern conference team we're only gonna be playing once then the earlier the better.

and don't just stick to ticketmaster, unless they still have retail tickets available (mostly upper levels though), other sites like stubhub and tickpick even craigslist if you're careful have better seats for around the same price.

Thanks for the info. I was planning on going to either the jazz, utah, or kings game. I noticed that someones the retail ticket is more expensive than the re-sell ticket for some seats on the upper levels in section 124 for the Jazz game. I've never bought off CL before just cause I always thought it was sketch but I guess I just have to be careful when on there.

Depending on the teams, I would buy off nbatickets.com. It's the place season ticket holders can re-sell their tickets and they might be less than ticketmaster. Can't speak for others, but when I list mine, I don't go in try to make a killing, so I keep it pretty close to what I paid for the tickets.

The less than retail is probably from season ticket owners. If you're doing craigslist, just make sure to do PayPal. Ask if it's coming from their season ticket account. If it came from tickemaster, they can send it to your email address or tm account.

Never take a printed out ticket. Like dude above posted, that's an easy way to try and scam someone. The printed ticket can be still used but the original hard ticket could still be valid, it's pretty much whoever gets there first. So I'm wary as well on hard tickets because they can still print out a ticket that's just as valid and get there before you.

What I do in those cases is if they say they're the season ticket owners to just email it to me from their account. If they give you any excuses then I'd probably stay away from that.

Luckily, I've never had a problem with warriors tickets. I've found some really great deals, only once where it seemed shady for some hard tickets. 2 different pairs of tickets from the same dude, lower levels too. It ended up being his company's season tickets, I still asked him to email me the tickets just in case and he did later on after the meet up.

I have been scammed before though, when I went to NY for the Knicks game, so probably not going to do meet ups out of town anymore cause I'm not familiar with their system.

Thanks for the info! Wasn't aware of the hard ticket thing since I usually go to giants games and always have a hard ticket printed lol. Will follow your suggestions.

Plan on hitting Warriors @ Nets in Dec. Definitely buying the tickets a few hours prior to gametime. I would love to see Warriors @ Knicks in Jan. but MSG is insanely expensive even if you wait till the last minute. Barclays, thankfully, isn't as popular as MSG.

barnes deserves a contract on the strength of him sacrificing life and limb to defend Courtney Lee last post season

but in all seriousness, even with the new caproom, it doesn't seem right for him to get paid that much given his current production. I've watched plenty of gsw games with him and I'm yet to see how he significantly effects the spacing of defenses or how he impacts team rebounding. I could just be overlooking him and I'm open to being corrected
No, you have a vaild point. For what he's done since being drafted, I too, don't think $16 mil should have been offered to him.

We're going to see alot of ridiculous contracts be offered/signed when the new cap arrives.

Is there any chance the W's still try to look into trading for KD? Or do you think that's never going to happen?

For our fantasy draft, we are having 10 teams for the league.

$20 per team will mean there will be a total of $200. Payout will be $160 to 1st place and $40 to 2nd place. If everyone is comfortable with Paypal, we'll all Paypal the winner and runner up at the end of the season. I'll assign who will pay who, like we did for previous years.

I'm going to skip making the YouTube video this year to decide the draft order. I'll be using https://www.random.org/lists/ to determine our draft order.

We'll start the draft Tuesday morning from 9am to 9pm. The team on the clock will have 3hrs to make their pick. If a team make their pick at let's say 8:30pm, then the clock will resume the following morning -30 minutes from the previous night. So the following morning, the next team will have 2hrs and 30min to make their pick. We'll notify when it's your turn via text or email or PM or Twitter or what have you. There will be a separate sheet on the Google Doc for preferred contact information.

Of course, we can make picks when we are off the clock to make things move quicker and the clock will begin for the next manager at 9am.

I'll be begin linking everyone to the Google Doc. PM me your Gmail account.

Let's have a great season and a quick draft! :pimp:

HB is probably feelin himself after winning a championship and having his first sip of alcohol ever. I love HB, his athleticism, his ability to hit the corner 3, and his potential to develop offensively (especially with his awkward dribble), but his price tag is a little too high if we're betting on potential.

I hope FO waits to see how he plays this season before they send him another offer.

I don't like this NTL guy, but lets try to make it a 12 man league.

Anyone pick up the Curry pack? Wasn't sure of the release time and thought it would be like a nike drop but just woke up at 7 and it's sold out online.

Sorry NTL. My fault. It's a little too late. I'll get you in the next one. I promise. :frown:
