Couldn't find a thread on the kid but he is my favorite artist on OVO right now. Definitely on that PND, Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller wave. He's only 19

His EP, Exis is out now. Hope to hear him on more tracks soon, I feel like they aren't pushing this kid at all, all on the back burner

Finally got around to listening to dudes stuff. He's really nice with it. His pen game is nice if he learns to sing on beat :lol: he will be a serious problem cuz he's got that early weeknd feel to his music with a unique voice and his rapping is better than Abels was back then but that unorthodox singing off beat stuff I just can't rock with.

Just listened to his ep. Joint is fire. Can't believe I been sleeping this whole time. Loved drama from the moment I heard it on ovo radio episode 1. I should of been checking for other tracks. Better late than never I guess.
 
I wonder why he didn't put I Got on the EP. It's my favorite track by him. Still playing the hell out of it, puts me on some kind of mood 
 
On the tracks when he starts getting that emotional tone in his voice I half cringe half vibe

All of You is unlistenable to me but that style has potential 
 
Been jamming this EP for about a week since the Drake thread put me on :pimp:

Definitely can see why ppl call him The Weeknd Lite :lol:

Singing-wise, Abel is light years ahead of him but content-wise Roy is also a young savage. As a rapper, he's better than the Weeknd but that's not saying much.

He's really rough around the edges but you can see the potential w/in that raw talent.

I really don't think it's that far off TBH. He has a bit of an accent also which makes him sound a bit different compared to weeknd

But only think I don't like is he be OFF BEAT as hell...if he gets on beat it's a wrap...
 
How I Feel is fire. Still not sold on his vocal ability but I dig some of his music.

Looking forward to a full-length project from him.

I like this young kid, wonder what his next project will be. I like this single, so far so good.
