It seems like they did indeed stop allowing promo codes on these and AE 1s.
Tried on desktop this morning for the AE and it said it was an app only release and in the app I went to choose the promo code per usual (got the ASG AE’s for $96) and it said “promo codes not eligible on this product” and had to pay the $120 for them on Adidas. On this topic though, I added the white Hardens to my cart and tried to apply the code on them and got the same message.
I have a love/hate relationship with adidas, they make it hard to like them. I liked the products before this new wave of hype from ae and the new found love of hardens people have now. I can tell you now they don’t know what they’re doing.Every year the 1st 2 colorways drop/leak a month early on finishline/ jd’s and get pulled in 24hours. Now that the masses loved the harden 7s and really want the 8s we’re 3 colors in and no retailers have them. This is coming after the 5 were garbage and them releasing 50 colors of them. They took the Trae 1s which was a great shoe, and made the Trae 2 unplayable, all they had to do was wear test them and loosen up the ankle collar, that line is destroyed. We’ve already seen the Dame 9. Unit is ridiculous it’s been 2 years since we got the Dame 8. Pretty much everything else - yeah… Trae 2 and harden 5 are on my really short list of worst shoes ever. Trae 3 came back nice though.
Unless you have inside info, as you’ve said it’s been 2 years since the dame 8 and the 9 has only been “unveiled”. I can’t actually confirm that we are getting them.
