Has anyone tried both the crazy explosives AND the hardens on court? I'm leaning harden but a few reviews from we are testers said traction could be an issue.

I have... these two are actually the mainstays of my rotation with the Brand Black Rare Metal coming in 3rd....

Traction for me hasnt been a problem at all really... I play mostly on 24 Hour Fitness courts and 1 concrete rubber court every week...

I love both but I find myself playing in Hardens way more consistently  than I do my CE Primeknits (Nations colorway)

Leather toe just doesn't work out , pinch the hell out of my toes

The disruptors feels a lot better

The grip on the explosives is mediocre same as the hardens but I'd rather go wit the hardens as my go to kicks

My IBAS in my tts feels great but once in a while i feel some plastic that bangs into the side of my foot. It happens rarely but I do notice it once in a while. Still my favorite shoe of the past year. Kobe 11s are up there.

The Pioneers sucked balls the two times I played in them so I returned them. The leather was digging into the side of my foot, traction wasn't very good, couldn't feel the Boost when actually playing and they just felt clunky. Maybe they're spectacular once broken in but I just can't keep playing in a shoe that I have to worry about while playing in til they actually feel good.

CE over Harden even though the outsole on the CE is not durable. This piece digging into the top of my foot is a deal breaker

Just curious, what did you go with after returning the hardens?

Kobe 11 EM. Flexible, feel great right out of the box, lightweight, breathable, low to the ground, great traction. They take a giant dump on the Hardens. I'm about to grab either the AD's or the PG's next.

crazy explosives are like the kd9s from the feel of the upper, but the boost on the crazy explosives are super soft and comfortable.

harden vol 1 boost is a lot harder comparatively speaking, but it allows you to have a lot more court feel.

i have no problem with either shoe, nor problem with the upper digging into my foot.  traction wasn't an issue since i do clean it after every indoor hoop session.  it seems tho that the harden vol 1 cushion gets better as you play more in them, so that could be considered break in period.  for me, it's 3 sessions, 2hrs each.  the explosives are just soft, even softer than the kd9, but the primeknit is thicker than that found on the primeknit harden, so it still provide lockdown.

i have wide feet, so i wear TTS and they are both comfortable!

i am wondering if the size might be the cause of that piece digging into the foot, for the most part my arch is normal, and once i laced up, it pushes the upper far enough above my foot so that there's not a lot of room for the upper to fold that much to have a whole piece dig down into my foot.  either way i'm sorry to hear that the shoe is not working for you.

Agreed with all of that, Bro, nice analysis, ha ha. The only difference is I have a regular/narrow foot so I went TTS in the Crazy Explosive and .5 down for the Harden.

How do you feel the D Rose 7 compares to these models?
