Even with hair, his skull is a mess. Maybe it's the glasses and there too tight, so much so it's causing a skull disfigurement. I bet when he takes them off skull goes back to normal.

Pole, sliding down the pole is the least of his worries, he's not even getting the helmet on, and if he does once he takes it off they'll be stress and stretch marks on the inside of it. He would push it past its tensile strength.

This looks 1000 times better than his patch work struggle. Clean. I'd respect him a lot more if he came on home.
