OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2023-2024 SEASON THREAD

It makes sense.

Not that I agree with it, but in doc's eyes he can be the best perimeter player in the league, and yet can't play down the stretch due to his offensive shortcomings, and his defense not being as valuable down the stretch when you need offense. Both can be true.

I suppose, BUT if you play really good defense and aren't always taking the ball out of basket, it becomes much easier to score.

Most teams that have elite perimeter defenders play them in late game situations. If you have other competent offensive players, which we do, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Doc hasn't even given Luc a chance in those situations.

If my alternative is Jamal Crawford, then for quite a few reasons i'm letting it ride out with Luc.

That being said though, I do understand the logic. He just doesn't really have the personnel for it.

Our streak without a 30 point scorer is freaking hilarious

I was sure it was going down with blake tonight. It's straight unreal

It is pretty crazy. Didn't even realize that was going on until last night. I'm sure Blake will get 30+ at some point this season, but its pretty bizarre nobody for us has done it yet.

BTW, I think our only chance of keeping the game close tonight if the Warriors went out partying last night when they got to LA and play tonight like they're all hung over.

Draymond, Zaza and D. West all out for the Warriors tonight, so maybe we'll lose by less than 40...

When we play GSW it reminds me of when an elite high school team plays a normal team. How close the game is depends entirely on them

Im so heated right now. The team that has smacked you around 8 straight times (with al least 6 of them by 25 pts or more im sure) comes into YOUR HOUSE hobbled (no draymond no livingston) and you start the game off playing like some 3rd grade kids who cant handle the damn ball. I love this team to a fault but jeezzzzuz man we jave no killer in us at all. It makes me so made. Our biggest killer is CP3.

13 to 4 rebs..GS
5 steals...GS

Cmon fellas get you **** together. I miss the hardcore street enforcers we had. Kenton, reggie, matt. They be bullying these little guards.

I want Doc fired just for how bad we are against the Warriors. Don't even care that we're missing CP

Well, we lost with relative dignity - at least as compared to the last few games.

A bit of optimism

The Clippers are 4 back of houston, and houston has played 4 more games than the clippers. As long as we tread water here until CP comes back,(Which will for sure be tough) the 3 seed should be in play.

^^^ Just treading water is going to be tough with the schedule coming up. I have Boston, Toronto and Jazz all as probably losses. Charlotte is a toss-up. We better beat the Knicks.

Basically, I can easily seeing is being well under .500 for the remainder of the month. TBH, as long as we don't fall below 6, I don't care that much about the seeding.
