OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2023-2024 SEASON THREAD

Doc will be gone.

CP3 will be gone.

Blake gone.

DJ left alone.

And I'll still ride for #Clipset all day.

Seems we've become stagnant and a big shake up change is needed.

J Crossover gonna flourish with everyone gone. Smh. I so thought we would be competing for a championship this year.

Truthfully, nice as it's been to have a team we can count on to win 50+ games each year, I'm looking forward to a shake-up.

Yawp. I still think today CP3 is the better player but not by much. Factor in Blake being younger and it's an easy decision imo.

CP is the better player and IMO that's some of the issues with them. Because CP is the better player, over the years we've played through him more than Blake, which has hindered blake's development

It just sucks that out inability to stay away from the injury bug during the regular season during this core's run, more than anything else, has made biggest difference in regards to the clips not being able to break through

CP3 is still great, but definitely in decline. It's showing especially in the close games. When he first got to LA, we used to win a large percentage of games that came down to the wire because he was such a great closet. He's not that guy anymore. If he was, we wouldn't have such a terrible record in games in which we trail in the 4th quarter this season.

And this is probably going to be his last really huge contract. So I could see him wanting max money for like 4 years. Just don't know if that makes sense for a six foot PG in his 30s who's not as quick as he used to be.

I mean, I won't be mad if he ends up signing with us again, but again, if it ends up being either him or Blake, I'd prefer to sign Blake.

Would agree that if it's cp or Blake then it would have to be Blake

But it doesn't have to be either / or.

Would disagree with CP being in decline...or at least in any noticeable decline. I wouldn't worthy about CP declining with age. By any measuring stick, he's been just as good as he's ever been. Career high TS, like a 26 PER, I would max him out. Injuries are a concern as well as age, but there's nothing really to suggest that he'll like fall off a cliff as he ages.

I think if we're going to reconstruct LAC we would and should do it around Blake AND CP.

If we do end up keeping CP3 and Blake, then Doc has to go. Otherwise, I'm certain it will just be more of the same.

Blowing as 18 point lead in the last 5min at home to the Kings...

It's over
with the wack changes they made before the season, I wasn't too optimistic anyway.
And now raiders are going to Vegas so rams will have to be my team now :smh:
Not gonna rep Las Vegas Raiders, sounds like a damn team from a movie staring LL Cool J and Jamie Foxx

Someone on Sportcenter last night said they should have traded Blake for Melo because Lebron has constantly stated that he wants to play with Melo and CP3 before he retires and that that would probably be their best chance at signing him.

So trade Blake for Melo to hopefully make Lebron leave Cleveland to play for LAC? What?

D Wade gonna be so salty he gets left out. Might pay the Bulls to release him. LOL.

Dawg this is the biggest pipe dream.

I'd see it happening at another team, but not LAC. Do i wish that? hell yeah but that's some NBA 2K team making right there

I mean can you imagine the riots if Lebron left Cleveland again? It'd be like the fall of Constantinople

It's borderline comical how important JJ is to what we do.

You can literally look at his points and shooting splits and without even looking at the scoreboard, determine how the Clippers are doing

Oh we have 72 points in the first half against washington? It's no coincidence that JJ is en fuego right now.

I hate this team, man. We should be heading towards our 2nd consecutive blowout and feeling great but instead I'm waiting on us to blow this one, too.

Man I can't even get excited because of the Dallas and Sacramento games from last week. Was just telling my brother how much I hate them right now.

I agree that is a pipe dream. But I think of it did happen, lac would be the perfect place. They could play together and maximize on all the benefits that come with playing in L.A.

In addition, LeBron is/was really only a Kyle korver and d will away from being truly unhappy with management. I think Cleveland fans would have been unhappy but, it wouldn't have been like the first time.

The way things have been going, last night was the easy one. The game we have to be worried about is tonight in Phoenix, against a team that is full tank mode. Those are the games where we really struggle.

It's sad that we've won 5 of 7, with those two losses being by a combined 3 points, and I still feel like this

And guys I personally believe the chances that Carmelo will be a clipper next season are sky high, so there's that.

Doc says Austin will be out a little while with this hamstring strain.

Regardless, we've gotta chill on these non blake and cp lineups man. It almost costed us again last night.
