I'm ignoring his post bro this thread is for positive energy only. No one is perfect. I worked hard last month and my job messed up my check so I didn't get paid today like I should have. The old me would have used me not getting paid as a reason to get drunk but a great man in this thread helped me get home tonight. He helped me better myself and I can't let his good deed be wasted so I have nothing but positive vibes and energy.
 
I really hope this is it for you brotha.
Hope I can read a thread of yours and it says "I've been sober for months/years".

Couple of weeks. I can't afford to get drunk nor do I care to get drunk anymore. I was running from myself when I got drunk and I recently realized that I'm an awesome person when I'm sober.
 
if you really got a free uber ride than props for the dude that paid for it... NT is really a place where dudes look out for each other... thats respect :pimp:
 
You're killing it man. It's hard to quit drinking. Wait a few more months and life is gonna feel too easy without booze in the way. Don't worry about money now. Just stay up and everything else will fall in line. You're gonna have that ex alcoholic grind in you now. Everything is 100 times easier when you used to do it drunk forever. Pros of alcoholism.
 
As crazy as it sounds NT has been a platform for me to vent and get my **** together. I've done crazy and dumb **** these last couple of months, weeks, days, etc but I've been able to talk about my issues on nt. NT shouldn't be a place for people to vent but it has help me realize that there is more to life than being drunk and high all the time no matter how complicated or bad life may be at a given time. I've acted a fool on NT and in the NT madden league, but me actin a fool has helped me grow as an individual and it's helped me realize that I have issues that need to be fixed. Thanks NT for changing my life.....

true but my alcoholic behavior has ruined many relationships with friends, family and significant others. Alcohol has ruined my life and I don't plan on letting it continue to ruin my life. I'm not a monster but when I get drunk I act like a lobster. My goal is to prove to people that I've let down that I'm not a monster.

I really dont know wat a lobster acts like but this is the last thing im going to say .

It may be the drugs they gave me for my teeth but ima keep it solid b.

The reason youve stopped is because of your current circumstances.
If you bought a lottery ticket and won 2000$ i think you would buy a bottle.

im in the same boat. i was told that if a driver didn't like you and gave you a bad rating, he/she wouldn't be sent to pick you up, if somehow you guys near each other again. comparing my rating to my friends ratings, who all have a rating around 4.5-4.8, it shows i'm that dude, in any condition. :pimp:
