I'm accepting that I'll never understand the hype that surrounded Lil Wayne.

Yes, his impact is undeniable, but his skills are a different story. Boggles my mind, really.

Tupac vs Biggie - Tupac had substance, but Biggie had bars. Tie

Tupac vs Nas - NAS, I love pac but has is easier to relate to.

Biggie vs Jay Z - Biggie

Biggie vs Nas - Nas

Biggie vs Eminem - If Big was still here Biggie, Em is definitely top 5 tho.

Biggie vs Pun - Biggie

Nas vs Rakim - Rakim probalbly inspired Nas, like how Dr. J inspired Jordan. Tie

Nas vs Eminem - Nas when you're blowin loud. Em when it's time for War. Tie

Nas vs KGR (kool g rap) - Nas

Pun vs Big L - Pun

Pun vs Eminem -Eminem

Rakim vs KRS1 - KRS1 lyrically but Rakim is still the O.G.

Rakim vs KGR

Rakim vs BDK(big daddy kane)

KGR vs BDK

Andre 3000 vs Ghostface - Andre lyrically, Ghostface story telling wise.

Andre 3000 vs Eminem - Eminem would probably destroy Andre in battle rap

Andre 3000 vs Nas - Nas

Ghostface vs Eminem - Ghostface, because he's older and still hasn't fallen off

Ghostface vs Raekwon - Ghostface

Eminem vs Jay Z - Probably a tie music wise. But Em would murder Jay Z in a freestyle.

Eminem vs KGR - Eminem

Eminem vs Rakim - Eminem

Cube vs Common - Cube, cube is also the better actor too

All Time Greats, Not Legendary As Other Greats

Wayne vs Luda - Sober wayne >>> New luda, both are great.

Wayne vs Fabolous - Wayne - Bars/Word play

Wayne vs Killa Cam - Wayne

Lloyd Banks vs Jadakiss - Jadakiss is top 10 rappers ever.

LLoyd Banks vs Fabolous - LLoyd snapped on my buddy.

Fabolous vs Jadakiss - Why is Jada on the second tier list? Jada is legendary.

Fabolous vs Killa Cam - Killa Cam, Paid in Full

Kendrick Lamar vs Wayne - Wayne when he's not on the drank.

Kendrick Lamar vs Lupe - K. Dot, but Tetsuo & Youth >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TPABF

Kendrick Lamar vs Kanye - Tie

Since I'm a big TDE fan - Ab Soul > Q > K. Dot > J Rock

Don't sleep on Curren$y, Bankroll Fresh, Dom, Gates, Gucci, Scarface, Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, K.R.I.T. etc.

Only gonna do a couple of these

Legends

Tupac vs Biggie - Tupac was more versatile, I preferred Biggie purely on rhymes and style
Nas vs Eminem - I was the biggest Em fan from 99-02, but Em's had such weak music since then, It's a no contest, Nas all teh way
Nas vs KGR (kool g rap) - Nas mostly cause I've listened to him way more than KGR
Pun vs Big L - Big Pun cause I just prefer him over Big L, but I also haven't heard many Big L songs
Pun vs Eminem - I honestly think bar for bar, they're of equal skill level, but with me souring on Em in latter years, but Pun's life being cut short but still having good music left behind, Pun easy
KGR vs BDK KGR cause his flow is damn near flawless and I've rarely listened to BDK. KGR's voice sounds fresh today as well.
Andre 3000 vs Ghostface - Ghostface is my all-time favorite rapper. He also actually has an extensive discography of rap albums.
Ghostface vs Raekwon - See above, except I just prefer GFK over Raekwon. Still would be #1 & #2 in Wu-Tang though.
Eminem vs Jay Z - Jay-Z has a better amount of good albums than Em, though both have a good amount of mediocrity, but just on skill, would say Eminem
Cube vs Common - There was a big gap of when I really wasn't listening to Ice Cube, probably an 8-10 year gap (besides Westside Connection). have always been a fan of Common, and loved most of his albums. Still a coin flip cause I think both are everything you want in pure rappers, but I'll say Common just cause I bought more of his music.

All Time Greats, Not Legendary As Other Greats

Wayne vs Luda - Luda's underrated, and after some mediocre to downright embarrassing verses for awhile, he dropped a very good album at the top of the year. Wa_n_ has always been average to be even at his "best", and current, is next to trash. Luda easy.
Wayne vs Fabolous - Fabolous cause he's recently made listenable music, even if I'm not a huge fan of his.
Wayne vs Killa Cam - Cam, because of Purple Haze, Come Home With Me, Max B, and Diplomatic Immunity.
Lloyd Banks vs Jadakiss - I prefer Banks based on skill, and the potential that I still believe he has. I'm a fan of Jada, but other than his 1st 2 albums, and features, I don't dig much of his mixtape stuff.
Lloyd Banks vs Fabolous - Banks based on skill, but I wish he had Fabolous' drive
Kendrick Lamar vs Lupe - They're equal to me, though it's been a minute since I've listened to Lupe. If Kendrick Lamar didn't rap like the male Nicki Minaj sometimes, I'd probably confidently pick him.
Kendrick Lamar vs Kanye - Kanye if he didn't make any music past 2008.

You ain't the only one. I will never see why he's "skilled". Dude is trash straight up and down. He wouldn't crack my top 1,000. Would rather listen to Hammer.

Listen to everything from Squad up tapes to The Carter 2.

You'll understand it then. Wayne past 07 has been trash.

I have. Dude is trash no matter how you slice it. He's popular, yes, but skill wise he's buns, period.
