Chris Mannix: I’ve been hearing ramblings that there’s legitimate interest in Chicago in potentially dealing Jimmy Butler this offseason.
:nerd:

Can take Lou Will... Have all our picks in the next 2 years. And Larry Nance too if that's what gets it done.

That Offsets most of Jimmy Butler's salary.

Go into FA with Russell, Clarkson, Randle & Jimmy Butler.

Huertas, Anthony Brown, Tarik Black the end of the bench guys.

Pretty much 2 max cap space available from there.

don't think trade goes through without Randle or Clarkson + picks.

Probably.

No thanks to trading the young 3. If they are going to move Jimmy B then it's toxic for the Bulls.

And it's also the Bulls we're talking about. That's a team you openly try to fleece.

Not starting with top dollar for that, because it's their idea to move him. even if he's worth it. Start low and find a balance.

Jimmy B for a Lou Will centered package

That would be a major fleece job :wow:

I'd be OK with giving our top 3 pick and Clarkson and Lou.... if we got their pick next year unprotected as well.

I'm a big fan of Jimmy and if his acquisition would mean Horford or KD its a no-brainer.

A Jimmy Butler and Thibs reunion?

Sign me up.

Top 3 and JC AND Lou?

I think that's too much

Gotta give something to get a player of his caliber...

To ME, Gar hears the offer without the pick inclusion, he hangs up the phone in .3 seconds.

the days of the "Hey here's Kwame, a gangster PG, and the fat brother of the Spaniard" is over

D'lo and Jimmy B would be a nice backcourt to build around.

In Mitch we trust

Need a Kobe/Shaq 30 for 30 with Screaming A after some of his revelations this morning.

Without doing the math, and not even sure what the market for Butler would be, but if we could land #1-2 and get Ingram.....

A package of Clarkson, Randle, and Lou (filler, whatever)

DLo
Butler
Ingram
Nance
Whiteside

And still cap to sign another player or two of value. Thin bench tho, but this is the type of "upgrade" they'd need to be both viable on defense and have enough offense to make it work.

Leftovers would be Huertas, Brown, Black, if we could keep #32 (might have to be part of deal) maybe Bass stays another year? If our other signee was someone like Batum, or DeRozan, you could slide Ingram to the bench while he learns, etc.

But, all that said, I don't see a deal like this happening. We couldn't get anything out of them for Pau, they aren't going to just give us Butler. And I don't know if they value Randle/Clarkson/Lou as close enough value. I think they'd want more, and I wouldn't give up another top pick, be it DLo or this year's.

And I don't think adding Butler makes Durant or Horford locks to join up either. They still have better options out there, with or without Jimmy on our squad.

Nick still on Twitter propping up this BS. I think he may have been expecting the team to ice out D'Angelo and it hasn't happened the way he thought it would.

Cut this bum.

they did ice him out though at least off the court.

Nick just needs to snuff him, but I don't think he has it in his nature to do it.

Whiteside looked impressive yesterday.

So ready for Nick Young to get stretched off the squad this summer.
