How did the Kendall & Clarkson news get out
nerd.gif
Dlo mad cause she rejected him this summer

Please tell them the last time we have had a damn good young core and cap space?

I'm willing to bet it was 1996.

Unless I'm reading this wrong this implies that they're good now correct or no? This was the initial response.

That was in response to someone saying we wouldn't sign a free agent over the next decade............We all know that it is impossible for this core to improve and have cap space.

Since I can't get a straight answer. Are they a good core right now or not? And I was speaking of my initial response and the diatribe that ensued after from you.

For winning, no, for building a team, absolutely.

I have never once said that the Lakers are going to sign a superstar this year though so I don't understand your point.

I was speaking from a standpoint that people apparently think that we will not sign a superstar in the next decade because of this.  Last time I checked,  a decade is longer than a year and these guys are more likely going to be much better in a year or two and we will still have cap space.

I was thinking the same thing.

Kobe is the 2nd best player ever his position. Kobe could be a ***hole cuz he was great and you knew on the court he was gonna bring it. And still Kobe wasn't that liked around the league until the 08 Olympics when he became a mentor the the rest of the players. This DLo situation ain't going away that easy.

DLo won't be the only reason a superstar won't come to the Lakers but like Mamba has said it's one of the reasons. Players have been turning down the Lakers cuz the front office is a joke and the team is trash now there's potential locker room drama.

I'm done getting my hopes up thinking a superstar will come here. We might have to do this old fashion way, through the draft cuz honestly it's no good reason for a great player to come here right now. Other than living in LA why would somebody join this mess? Hopefully we get that #1 pick.

I need somebody in this thread RIGHT NOW to name me one single Superstar player that signed with the LA Lakers to play with Magic Johnson.

Name me one. Right now, do it.

Greatest teammate in history, name me one single NBA Superstar that joined the squad over a dozen years.........

I was a tad bit WRONG about @dloading. It seems to be clear it was a joke gone bad.

Stephen A was yellin and screamin a day or so ago.......

I don’t care if it’s D’Angelo or D’Angela, you don’t snitch on anyone like that!

D'Angelo Russell will never be trusted again.

Now replace magics name with Lebrun, Jordan, bird, etc....

Lakers had 3 superstars already on the roster in the 80's. And great role players. What do you need a Superstar FA for?

Now let's say if Magic wasn't forced to retire. I sure dudes woulda been lining up to play with him in the 90's.

OK, second question, please name me ANY Superstar, ever, to sign up to play with the super great teammate, Larry Bird. Any name, just name one. Anybody.

Using S.A.S to validate your opinon

Validate my opinion?

SAS is backing off HIS initial opinion. HIS hot takes.

My take hasn't changed, I didn't stand on my soapbox and scream like a lot of idiots did without any details. SAS is just the first to apologize for his initial statements.
