Jerry Buss? Hell no he wasn't like that. If he was still alive you better beleive he would have been in the arena on the hardwood to give a speech or would have done a personal video tribute and would have been in his private luxury suite at Staples.

Jerry West on the other would be nowhere to be seen or heard from like Jim Buss.

Dr. Buss was always at the games. Either at the forum or Staples Center. Heck he was even sitting in the stands watching a pre season game in Hawaii when Shaq during the game yelled at him and said "Now will you f'in pay me"

Dr. Buss during like his last 5 years alive wasn't really seen publicly because he was old and dying of cancer.

Anyway, Dr Buss and Jim are two completely different personalities.

Jerry is the life of the party. Jim is more quiet and reserved. It's why he doesn't do many interviews, or make many public appearances.
