Time sure does fly. Seems just like yesterday fam was airballing shots in Utah, lobbing to Shaq, and motioning ppl to calm down "I got this" at age 21 in Indiana. I'm honestly just thankful for all he's done for this franchise, he literally gave everything on the court he could and then some. Going to be strange as hell to not see him in some capacity on the sidelines. Thankful that even though he wasn't really Kobe anymore, that I finally got the chance to see him play and thats something I'll be able to tell future generations, got to see a legend in the flesh. Salute to you Bean :smokin

this dude is just an inspiration man, watching today's game made me go to the local court and put up 100 shots. then tonight after watching a bunch of highlights I ended up hitting the gym.

anyone who works as hard (and smart) as kobe does at anything is going to be highly successful

Man his explosion that season was ridiculous, looking like he was 27. I swore up and down he was going to maintain that level of play or something similar til he was for 40 before that injury happened lol. Achilles injuries are no joke though and from there on everything just piled on.

Anyone have a favorite Kobe in-game celebration after a basket?

I always enjoyed them cause they were always kinda corny but kinda badass at the same time.

Kobe jaw? Gladiator pose? Smoking fingers? Patting Alvin Gentry on the ***? Whatever he was doing after his Suns buzzer beater?

not really a celebration but that 09 rockets series, after scoring on shane he would look at the TNT crew and say "he cant stop me"

And finally not a celebration but is def a top 3 moment off the court

I like the one where he was spitting all over the place showing his heart after the buzzer beater against Phoenix

2013 should have erased all doubt and ended all debate, forever.

34, a billion games/minutes/injuries already gone thru, team full of HOFers, all of them broken down that season, and Kobe kills himself MORE to have the 2nd best record in the L after the break?

Pierce, Ray, Kidd, Vince, TMac, etc etc etc etc weren't doin that. Dwight, Pau, Nash, Metta weren't gonna get thru it alone. None of those guys goin 48 night after night after night even in their 20's, much less at that mileage.

29-8-7 while doin it, too. :smh:

The man died on our court carrying those wet wipes around.

Sucks we didn't have MDA from jump to avoid Mike Brown's 8 hour practices in October. Could have lessened the burden earlier in the season, not get off to such a poor start, not tax them out before Thanksgiving.

Nash leg break started it all. If not for that, maybe they all have a lil more in the tank at the end. :smh:

I didn't think it was possible to hate that clown Pringles more but that last article did it.

Pau should have been traded that summer they got Dwight and Nash to get deeper and more athletic.

I'll argue to my grave he was the best player in the league that year
