It was a serious debate between MDA lovers and haters and when Thibbs was brought into the debate he was said to be a horrible "trash" coach.

I agree if Lakers get #3 pick in this draft they should trade it away.

After Ben Simmons & Brandon Ingram the rest of the lottery and draft class sucks and is a straight crap shoot.

#3 pick & Clarkson for Jimmy Butler & Taj Gibson. Do it Mitch.

I'm prepared to not hear about the Lakers firing Byron.....the FO is too stuck on the past to move forward. That's all they bring up when they meet with FA anyway.

Looks like Scott brooks is going to Washington now...anytime the lakers want to join the coaching search
 
Bass was really good after a slow start (injury). Wouldn't mind having him back, but he'd have to play center again with Randle and Nance in the fold, which won't be good for the team.
 
Frustrating seeing coaches go somewhere else the Lakers just don't have an identity anymore so they try and hang on to the past basketball has evolved but our owners have not...wouldn't be suprised seeing Phil back...don't know what it's gonna take for them to open their eyes maybe a decade of lottery picks
 
Article reads like a hit piece. Lma was not coming here no matter how good/bad the presentation was. As far as thibs it comes down to not getting full control, which woj muttered under his breath somewhere in there. And I coulda swore I read something two days ago that said he wasn't interested anyway. Oh well.
