The more I read up on Messina, the more I like.
I watched some of his coaching vids and he really emphasized developing players and molding the system to his players.
I was weary about his age at first but then I looked and he's two years YOUNGER than Thibs. I swear I thought Thibs was in his 40s. dude is 58.

I mean dude is a west coast Cali kid. He grew up down here in San Diego, played college ball at Arizona, and his pops is a hippie basketball legend.
