BUT he gives us a upgrade and different looks on BOTH offense and defense.

Derozan D now is better than what JC's will ever be.

JC get pushed around alot on D...bigger guys (tall PG's and normal SG's) can do what they want with him....post him, drive and elevate over him, elevate and shoot.....

hes a one way threat, and his 1 way ain't that great yet.

You know you're basing all this on a Steven a Smith rumor. According to him KD is gonna sign with the Lakers. If he signs other free agents will too. So Jim and Mitch will significantly improve the team, probably more than double the win total and then Jeanie is gonna drop the hammer on everybody so Phil can take over.

1+1=tangerine. Doesn't add up.

Clarksons my guy but he's definitely worse than demar as far as defense goes.

Players ATTACK Clarkson because they know he can't play a lick of defense.

Demar can definitely hold his own at his position.

I do like our number one target in FA being Whiteside. We need center badly.

I mean, Luke....Warriors.....Bogut.....small ball

I'm curious to see the strategy. Maybe we go after an Ezeli type and spend the rest on shooters, stretch 4s, interchangeable perimeter players etc

while i do agree that JC is no Kawhi

dont forget to look at the roster we've had, not too many lockdown defenders or solid team defense behind him.

Although I know its a dream and unrealistic but Vogel as an assistant coach with Brian Shaw, talk about bringing Pacers to LA.
 
where did this obsession over kent bazemore come from?

he's a good complimentary player. but 18 million for him? wow.

Bazemore is in his prime, long, athletic, an improving shooter and a good defender. Ideally, I would start a contract offer at $15M per.

All these salaries make me mad as hell they didn't go after Aminu last year. Dude is going to make like 8% of the salary cap moving forward.
