Is it because you don't like him personally or because you don't see him fitting with our young dudes?

He is a great asset I think. Depends on how much we have to pay him as well.

He's old, and plays almost zero defense. He still has a bit of an offensive game, but it is certainly a diminished one.

And whatever money you give him, you could give to a guy almost 10 years younger.

Move on from him.

Probably due to him being like 37 next year and pouting when he comes off the bench.

so his all star year won't carry over to next year? I'd rather have Pau's offense and antics then overpaying Horford or Whiteside imo

Yeah i get that. Y'all aren't seeing where I'm getting at. Heard it on Max and Marcellus last week. Interesting option.

I'm sure the Powerpoint presentation would have gone over swimmingly with LMA and DJ. These guys have def berm on the top of their pitches. I've got supreme confidence in them to do more great work this summer.

as much as id like to see Pau back and retire here i see y'all point on him

considering we might swing and miss on the hot bigs come FA, i dont mind giving him a TD deal (2/10per)

y'all gassin up horford, but truth is he's an undersized 5 with an extensive injury history

id rather see pau back, still runs/spreads the floor and put up 2 blocks per game last year

considering who was the coach 2 years ago, do you really believe any of the bigs were gonna have career years...

Another East All Star we "don't want"

Man......

For someone who was anti giving Kobe 24 mil a year at age 36 I would think you wouldn't want to give Harford 30 mil a year at 34.

You don't really believe the two situations are similar, do you?

Kobe was at the end of his career, with NOTHING else behind him. Zero. We were about to start rebuilding.

Horford at 34 will have mid 20's teammates just entering their primes. He will be the sage vet to help guide them along ala the old Spurs so to speak.

And Horford's money would come to get him at 29, healthy, and capable. Kobe's came AFTER a career threatening injury.

They are in no way similar or connected. So if Horford wants to sign on for 4 years, and that means we have to pay him a lot of money in year 4, cuz, that's how it works, then yes, I would be fine with it.

I really hope blocks is not how you're going to define defense, at least singularly. because think what Roy Hibbert was this past season, now imagine a lesser defender who moves at the same pace on defense. And also 7 years older.

Also Pau shot 1 - 3s/game. More than he did with Mike D'Antoni. So save that.

He shot 0.6 - 3s per game MDA's first year. Which has some rational explanation to it because when you have Dwight, who isn't going to be a threat standing 20 feet away, you have to play him closer to the basket, which will take Pau further away.
his last year in LA when Dwight wasn't there, he only shot 0.2 - 3s/game

Pau is going to the Spurs.
I really believe this too because of Marc's public comments and also the Spurs courted him last time. I believe they almost got close.

Think Duncan retires? I think he definitely goes if Duncan retires so he can start. Starting is important to him from what I can tell.

Pau will play well for them too. He's the type of guy that needs an outside stimulus to jolt him/new environments. His effort goes down as he doesn't get his way.

Yeah, I think Duncan retires and Pau takes the starting center spot. I don't think he's what they need, but he's too good of a player to pass on.

Noah and Horford having a Florida West reunion for a couple years :nerd: :nerd:

Hell I'm even cool with Corey "SnowBird" Brewer if available coming for cheap too

I'd love nothing more for than that too happen. Got a lot of salty Bruin fans in here though :nerd:
