No when she said they assaulted her, they are now being accused of something they didn't do. And now being placed in the same place as rapists, and molesters.. And that is not this. Nor is it in the criminal realm of things.
Sexual Harassment is not persecuted as Sexual Assault. Not viewed as it in law,
This is the Justice Department's definition of sexual assault
Most sexual harassment cases do not even get brought into court, unless it happens in the workplace where the workplace is sued for it. Or if it violates a restraining order.
They are defined as separate things.
Why? Because the seriousness of the two are different.
In almost all definitions, assault of a sexual nature involves physical contact of some sort.
WE also have no idea what actually happened.
They could have drove up and said "Hey Sexy" that would be defined as sexual harassment, but are we really going to sit here, and act like that was assault? Or even attempting to be malicious in intent?
If they or one of them said "Hey sexy," all of them laughed, and that was it. We are really going to say that that is sexual assault?
Where it goes to a new level, is if they said "Hey sexy," she said don't talk to me like that, and they escalated, or kept going. That's where you've entered being wrong, and it becomes more of a problem.

It's not caping... It's how she chose to define things, and then back track it. That's the difference, and the entire problem of it.
That and not knowing any of what actually happened.
As to the cutting Nick Young.... You can stretch his contract. Wouldn't be able to cut him and get out of his contract for this.
