Nah man. Even if they do develop into allstar caliber players.
It's starting to look like mid 90's again when we had young talent in: Nick Van Exel & Eddie Jones, then boom summer 96 we had the cap space to go after and get Shaq.

What do you mean even if they're all star caliber? You're saying 3 all stars is not enough or just the lakers will look to trade regardless? Nick and eddie weren't as good as these kids are supposed to be. I just don't think they'll look to trade, this foundation is more curry/klay than kobe/shaq

It's possible that the lakers have the best PF prospect and the 2 best guard prospects in the past 2 drafts. Definitely too early to cap their ceiling. I'm just saying they have the potential

Nick was late 2nd round steal pick like Clarkson.
Eddie was a lottery pick like D'Lo.
Randle, Clarkson, D'Lo all have the potential to be the future corner stone franchise players we all hope they turn out to be.
Guys like KD, Westbrook, and Boogie are already established players at this point in their careers that can take the Lakers back to contender status if added to the core group we have already with Randle, Clarkson, and D'Lo.Why would we need to trade any of the if we will have the cap space to get 1 or 2 of them in free agency the next 2 off seasons.
