Julius played pretty well, but this is one of the best defenses in the league in 2016 and we're out our Top 3 scorers. Figured to be some focus/pressure on DLo tonight. Hopefully he shrugs it off and responds Sunday.

Nance also looked pretty good.
Damn D'Lo was hoping he would really shine tonight with everyone being out.
Honestly, that's exactly what I want my PG to know. I need him to know that he can be great WITH the team, but he can't carry them.

Horford said the gameplan was for the bigs to aggressively give help on Russell and keep him from getting clean looks.

Just now seeing the game. Funny how randle and milsap mirrored each other exactly in the first quarter. Like...exactly

It was a good game for dlo first time when a team focuses defense on him plus he really had no offensive help...he will learn from this...and such a big night for our tank...heading to the home stretch of our final tank...can't wait

I agree.
It's all a learning experience his first few years, glad he's experiencing the good and the bad.

Like, I don't mind my center thinking, "Oh, Kobe's out? Horry's out? No Fox? No Fish? I got this."

And maybe we win, maybe we don't. But I'm ok with him thinking that he really doesn't NEED those guys EEEEVVERY single night.

I don't mind Kobe thinking, "Oh, Pau's out? No Lamar? No Fish? I got this."

But not my PG. I need him to realize he can flourish by making everyone flourish, but if it's him and a couple D-League call ups an NTer, he may as well take this L and pad his stats or try out some new moves or something.

Obviously, I wish everyone had a thinking or a 'realization' that the strength is in the core players and not the individuals making up the core, but if I could pick just one position who definitely realized that, it's my PG.

Because otherwise... if everyone thinks or realizes that they are the alpha and those other dudes better realize he can win by himself, I mean, that's exactly what happened with Shaq and Kobe, and I kind of think it's Russ/KD, too.

So I wish EVERYONE realized that the strength of the core unit is with the unit ss a whole, but I definitely need my PG to think that.

You know?

dlo averages 11.7 fga per game but only 3.5 assists per game

Respect to Hibbert and Bass, but Hibbert can't catch passes and Bass takes too long to get up baskets around the rim. Russell would probably average a couple of more assists with better personnel (duh).

Anthony Brown had discomfort in his foot for the last week and gets diagnosed with a stress fracture yesterday. Gary Vitti can't leave soon enough.

Barbosa out there making Huertas look good.

I wonder who they'll get to replace Vitti.
