Every game is a must lose from now on, but the Knicks and Suns this week especially.

Steven a ruined any chance we had of getting durant if he does go to la he'll have to hear it from Steven a for the rest of his contract there

:pimp: Happy to see Russell get his shine on and prove me wrong. They need to quit messing around with all these wins though

Never gonna be upset at a W where the youngins cook.... We asked for them to play and now they ballin!!!!

Jordan Clarkson hitting the 3 ball changes EVERYTHING! :pimp: :pimp:

See, it's a tricky balance, this tanking/developing thing.

On one hand, you want to tank to improve your chances at a quality prospect.

But if the team is legit terrible and that's why the tank stayed on track, then when you DO eventually have quality pieces, you won't win because your previous newbs never played winning basketball.

See: Sixers.

So I know we want to stay locked into a prime draft position, but we need guys to learn how to win while the tank is rolling, because ultimately, we do plan on being good again, right?

I'm fine with a lower chance of keeping the pick if the kids are going to play a lot and well.

But I still think they will finish with the second worst record in the league.

He has been lights TF out :x. Ever since rising stars where he did nothing but jack 3s he's been letting that thang fly. Knew he had it in him

This.

In the last 9 games are pretty much guaranteed to go 2-7  or 1-8

Suns will pick up maybe 3-4 for wins hopefully.

D'Angelo Russell is now .98 PPP (46 possessions) on post ups, getting to the line 26.1% of the time. 84.7 percentile. Supports eye test

It's been a great stretch, really really promising.

His confidence is sky high, maybe DLo and him have truly "Brodie" clicked and some of that swagger has extended to his game. They really can be a fantastic backcourt.

Now I just need them to both show an iota of defense "will" and I'll be gitty for next year....

With or without the pick

Well....

The pick would be be nice

I think you see some encouraging signs from Russell on defense... He has made a habit to use his length, to get in and strip the ball at a solid rate.

He also can stay in front of his man decently one-on-one.... Our pick & roll defense is just atrocious.

But yeah Clarkson using his athleticism, and Russell using his size as advantages SHOULD help on defense
