And it starts....my dude DLo. He already getting his shine commercially on a crappy team. Oh to be an Los Angeles Laker lol

Only a matter of time before dlo and randawg get their own sig shoe :pimp:. Both already signed with the swoosh. JC up next

See, it's a tricky balance, this tanking/developing thing.

On one hand, you want to tank to improve your chances at a quality prospect.

But if the team is legit terrible and that's why the tank stayed on track, then when you DO eventually have quality pieces, you won't win because your previous newbs never played winning basketball.

See: Sixers.

So I know we want to stay locked into a prime draft position, but we need guys to learn how to win while the tank is rolling, because ultimately, we do plan on being good again, right?

Normally I'd agree with you, except if they do too well, we LOSE THE FREAKING DRAFT PICK ALTOGETHER

There's a big difference between picking lower in the draft and not picking a player at all; that would probably hamper your franchise development more than losing 3 extra games this year because you were committed to tanking.

I know we have to give away the pick eventually, but would much rather it be at the end of the lottery than in the top 4. I think given the trajectory of the youngins and the fact Kobe won't be there next year, they'll at least be able to be like, not the second worst team in the league next year

We could lose the pick from 2nd worst record.

We could be #1 from 3rd worst record.

It's all a crapshoot.

As long as we stay top 3 worst we'll be good which I think we can do...anyways top pick goes to whoever the NBA wants it to go to...they owe us one and its in their benefit for the Lakers to be good so many fans all over the world

Damn, I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on some tickets for tonight's game.

billy goat vs baby goat :pimp:

anyone going tonight?

I was but the prices are just too ridiculous and Kobe may only play a half.

$120 for the top nosebleeds, 300-800 for anything mid to lower level. I got tix for 300 total earlier to watch OKC in section 117 pretty damn close, not paying to be basically outside the arena.

Have you sat there?

I've caught dozens of Clippers games in the 300 section and it's not that bad.

$6 tickets  :smokin

Yes I have, the lower rows on the upper levels aren't as bad, but once you experience premium seating, there's no going back

I actually prefer the 300's. I have sat in just about every section of staples. Only place I haven't made yet is the hardwood floor seats.

People are snobby in the 100's sections. Folks on their phones and such. Behind the basket 100's aren't too bad.

300 they get rowdy and cheer. I like that. Just me.

Im sorry but i am not spending my rent check on tickets to see kobe with a 50% chance of him not even playing. :smh:

Bean youre my dude but im just gonna have to enjoy the rest of your career on tv

Those were the prices 5 or 10 years ago. Before the Clips had CP3 or Blake and sucked.

Since Ballmer bought the Clips prices on every seat level at Staples has gone up.

For Laker games yeah I agree 300 level are the best value as long as you sit in the baseline seats or near center court. Behind the basket 300 level seats are bad.

I've sat in the 200 level seats behind the baskets and don't like the view and arent worth the price.I've sat in the premiere level seats where you enter star plaza and meh.. not worth the price especially when you arent in the middle sections seats. Also everything from food to beer etc is more expensive in the PR level section.Best seats I've had were section 112 back when face value was $240, which nowadays go for $475 face value.
