Watching the raptors a lot this season, and I've realized one thing, Derozan would fit in so well with this team.
He attracts double teams and learned to pass it out so well. He gets to the free throw line with the best of them. And I'm sure he will get even more superstar calls in LA. With shooters like D'Lo, Clarkson and possibly Ingram, he'd fit in perfect. Points and assist average are up.
Would love for the lakers to try and go after Whiteside, Derozan and maybe Bazemore (young, athletic wing that plays hard on defense)

Derozan/Lou
Bazemore (or Ingram when ready)
Randle/Nance
Whiteside
Maybe even run a small ball lineup of
DLo

Derozan

So many opportunities this offseason. The main thing right now is to maintain the pick. The young guys gotta keep developing until the end of the season. Gotta give these free agents a reason to come here, convince them they'll have a good supporting cast if signed

When I have seen their games, he's been chucking. We've got quite enough offensive minded players. Defense and rebounding is the priority.

The one thing we can't do this off season is look like incompetent fools. We gotta turn the page and begin to change the dialogue of the franchise this summer.
We can't look like we are whiffling on free agents, can't make it seem like no one wants to be here, gotta actually hire a respected coach.
If we can just keep the pick, hire a respected coach, and make maybe 1 key free agent signing this off season (doesn't have to be KD)...then I personally think that would be a successful off season.
