Just got back from the game, had a GREAT TIME! Even though I want to make sure we protect that top 3 pick! Sooo glad to see them win in most likely my last time seeing Kobe live!!! Didn't mind the win at all! Had killer seats, basically floor seats (comp also). For people who don't know they have a TIGHT KOBE STORE.....with all his shoes, memorable photos, custom jerseys etc..... SO DOPE!

 what's the bobblehead look like?

the first thing the college coach said about this clown is "he's very good at taking recruits out"

only basketball related comment was "he's talented"

I hate everything about nick young, he is a waste of human life

Simmons & Ingram are clearly consensus 1 & 2.

And even though it's a HUGE drop off, # 3 is kind of interesting.

Brown, Dunn, Bender, Poeltl, Hield all have some claim to # 3 pick.

-Brown has most potential. Also fits defensively. BUT, can't shoot a lick, so he with Bender would require most work, but has a higher floor than Bender.
-Dunn fits well in a guard rotation. Solid on defense, but also a lot of upside because of side. But he's older, so that puts questions on his ceiling
-Bender is really really raw. Has good potential , but isn't some mythical being that if he gets it, will blow the doors off like Porzingis got from some circles.
-Poeltl is the best defender of these guys. Would fit, but wouldn't say his ceiling is super high. Fringe starter maybe.
-Hield is probably the easy # 3 pick if he wasn't turning 23 in December. Great great shooter. But he's bad on defense, and is a bit undersized as a 2. Also out of all these guys, he's the only one that would require shuffling of any of Russell, Clarkson & Randle to a new team (Clarkson in this case). Now way it could work, or even attempt to work it like you could try with Simmons & Randle in a variant lineup of different generations.

No thanks to Ellenson & Murray

^given the drop off at #3, is there any scenario if we end up at #3 we trade it to move back and get an asset (player or more picks) in return?

I doubt we'd be able to get multiple picks for #3, usually that's when a draft has some type of depth going in. If it's traded it'll be for a current player.

Thought about going back to with Nuggets to get # 8 (currently) and either 15 or 17 (currently) for # 3.

But with the lack of depth in the draft it's super risky.

Would rather them just draft at 3, if they are keeping the pick
