Actually we don't have to go that far, just fast forward to draft lottery night, cause if we lose that pick...all hell is going to break lose this off-season.

If we're going to fast forward, can we just skip right on to 2018 and see where we're at?   Because next season isn't looking too promising at all.

Aaaaccttuuuaaallly, if time travel is a thing, how about we go back to 2011 and make sure 'basketball reasons' go in our favor? :nerd:

Basketball reasons >>>> being forced to root for cp3 and dwight Howard. I'm wayyyy more interested in a Randle/Clarkson/russell/?? led team than having to be fans of those clown punks. God bless David stern

I honestly and truly think that our position in the basketball world and the collective opinions of CP0 and Dwert would be DRASTICALLY changed if that goes through.

With Kobe still having a little left in the tank, I see us winning a title, and that's the biggest knock on CP and Dwert.

Last night was the first night I hated DLo.

I freaking started Huertas because all "reporters" said he was doubtful to play.

And I was only a few points away from cashing in a tourney, which DLo would of gotten if I had known he was playing :smh:

SIT YOUR *** DOWN AND REST THAT ANKLE NEXT TIME BRAH WE AINT GOT NO TIME FOR HEROICS AT 15-60

CP0 nor Dwert would have been the guy, Bean still is the undisputed leader of that team. They'd likely have worked not being the best player in the team.

Kobe would have had CP3 in the weakside corner and Dwight in offensive rebound position.

I think if these past few years have taught me anything, it's that secondary and tertiary players matter.

Not sure having three stars is enough to mask the rest of a thin roster.

The dynamics of the west in those 2-3 seasons was different though. Miami was running wild on the league with that dynamic and just a smattering of complementary players. I think they would have had more than enough to be contenders especially assuming Kobe doesn't tear his Achilles from two much wear and tear.

Were not better than the Spurs the last 2-3 years regardless, last year the Warriors would ran through CP3 and Dwight all the same as well.

That Lakers team with Dwight & Kobe quietly turned into the best team in the L, second half of the season and we had a weak supporting cast around those two, Now you add CP3 to that core and i think we have enough to really make noise.

If we got the 7 seed with Kobe, an injured Nash, an injured Gasol, a Dwight with a bad back + torn labrum, with our best role players being Metta and Earl Clark AND with Dantoni as coach, I have a feeling we'd do much better with Kobe (-2 years of wear and tear), a prime Dwight before the bad injury, and CP3. Phil would've worked it out and done his magic.

The only other definite NBA player at the time other than Kobe, CP3 and Dwight on the roster would have been MWP. Maybe Meeks too.

Everybody else would be up in the air. I'm sure they would have nabbed a ring chaser or two.

The same Spurs that choked a 2-0 WCF lead to a young OKC after winning 20 consecutive games in 2012? Or the same Spurs that also had the biggest choke in NBA history in game 6 in 2013? Or 2014's championship team? Or last year's first round exit Spurs?

We never know which Spurs we'd get

Touché.... and CP3 absolutely owns the Spurs :frown: :smh:

Dwight isn't happy playing 2nd to Harden being 3rd option may have had him implode
