I know what Jeanie said. "We hate that we never got to have a farewell tour for Magic." I know. Part of independent thought is not basing your connections, beliefs, and thoughts on others. I'M saying... one has nothing to do with each other. Just because she said they are related doesn't mean they are. In reality, they're not. The only reason one has to do with the other is because she said so. Taking a step back, they really aren't connected other than playing for the same team their entire career.[/quote]

How would you have liked for it to go down to be less circusy?

I think initially it was a circus, then he toned it down, sat games and the team still sucked, and now is ramping it up with the circus stuff.

Honestly at this point I don't even mind. Go out and shoot Kob. Everyone on the team looks for him almost every possession too.

It's a Farewell Tour for They to show their appreciation after not being able to for Magic.

He's getting all this because They didn't have a chance to 25 years ago.

Now I'm not saying we're giving some Sasha clown a tour because we couldn't for Magic, but the eternal benefit for the franchise is NOT giving Kobe a proper sendoff; it's making sure the appearance is out there that They gave Kobe a proper sendoff.

Literally excluding only CP, tupac, Blu3s, leemelone (I think), and KB8SD.

And the benefit of the tour doesn't outweigh the benefit of focusing more on the future players, now. Somethin like that?

I see that logic. And it might be true, but it may be helping (slightly) in other ways doin this tour. Future FA's + these rooks seein how the team will treat your hard work. $$$ generated keeping people interested in a 16 win team that other teams wouldn't get with 30-40 win type seasons. Keeping focus off young guys a little longer so microscope isn't as focused.

Do those outweigh? Iono. Time will tell I guess.
