I'm really happy with the way Kobe ended his career. Tonight represented everything that Kobe has been for 20 years. Nothing else would have been as representative.
exactly, dude managed to perfectly capture everything people hate him for and everthing people love him for in a single game to cap of his career

cant make this stuff up
to add to this, he ends his career with a shooting % of 44.7%

in his last game he took 50 shots and shot 44%

it was a dope lineup byron had out there to end the game

kobe randle nance clarkson and dlo

he let the kids witness greatness

best game i'll ever go to in my entire life. felt teary eyed after the game knowing it was the last time i'd see him on the court. thank you for everything and all the memories from my childhood black mamba!!

I know you had a blast Pac. Entire day was electric after the Vault fiasco. So much love, appreciation, and energy. Great taking to fellow fans about the past, present, and future, their favorite Kobe moments and what he meant to them. Kinda regret leaving Tom's at halftime and watching the rest back home cause I know that place was on fire in the 2nd half.

final 3:19 of the 4th quarter

kobe ends the game by going

15 points
thats literally 1/4 of his production on the night.... in 3:19

final 3:19 of the 4th quarter

lakers down by 10

kobe ends the game by going

5/5

1/1 from 3

4/4 from the line

15 points

1 assists

lakers win by 5

Can't get more vintage than that, that honestly was crazier than the Toronto game in 2013.

what was the feeling like in the arena??
unreal. at the start of the game all the fans were so excited/nervous waiting for kobe to get those first points and throughout the night we just all got louder and louder. I saw one jazz fan in the entire arena and he got boo'd from the entrance to wherever he walked by every lakers fan, it was great.

when kobe went off the 4th quarter, they played all day by yeezy and he was hyped as hell dancing to the song with jay z and kendrick and all of them. ridiculous atmosphere.

SUCH AN AMAZING DAY! One of the best of my life! From seeing all the Lakers fans wearing Kobe Jerseys all over town. From going to the Fan Fest (was basically a PARADE) to KOBE SCORING 60, hitting clutch shots and setting records! AMAZING!!! I'll NEVER FORGET 4.13.2016

I'm lowkey salty I didn't get to go to this game. :smh: My wife knew I wanted to see Kobe one last time before he retires and for Christmas, instead of this game, she got me tickets against the Bulls in March where the Lakers got blown out. To add insult to injury, ticket prices for this game weren't that expensive cuz she bought them like right when Kobe announced his retirement before prices soared. Don't get me wrong, it was a great present, but damn..... :smh:

Man I had all sorts of feels, especially growing up watching this franchise, ups, downs, etc. But something about seeing the young guys running up to Kobe and embracing him...Man I felt something different that I haven't felt before in regards to the Lakers. Unexplainable, can't put a pin on it really.

And the only grandparent I have left, she's visiting from the Philippines and she LOVES basketball and she ADORES the Lakers. So to share this night with her, some fam and a couple homies, it was like a championship party at my house. Couldn't have had it any other way.

And really didn't expect Beans final game to pan out the way it did. Like it was too good for it be true, it was like a movie, like I felt Utah was in on it  .

Can't thank Kobe enough for the numerous moments of satisfaction and joy he's supplied us throughout his time in the L. GAWD in my eyes forever.

Re-watching the game right now... didn't realize they played that Nike Kobe retirement song during the game
