D-Wade even at his advanced age is still better. And even so, the SG position is by far the weakest it's ever been historically. He's way down on the list of combo guards league wide.

CJ may be a reach, but the rest of that list is accurate. As for his tradability, after he gets exposed even more for being the one dimensional guy he is once he gets out West, that'll be a lot lower as well.

Wiggins is clearly still growing, and will get there, no doubt, but TODAY, he is not better than DeRozan as a player. And on top of that, he will likely slide to SF as his game evolves. And be untouchable for many years.

The rest of those players are PG's, and CJ isn't better than DeRozan either, tho he is certainly closer than Wiggins is.
 
I think he meant guard spots for the ASG..which there are only so many of...therefore, the inclusion of PGs on the list.
I mean, derozan is nice...but i still think SF and C are the most pressing needs. Lotto first. I wouldn't catigorize DD as the "prize" FA. Unless JC signs an offer sheet and LAL doesnt match.

So his max would be approx 25M per thru 19-20...turns 27 on aug 7..so age 27-31 seasons..primarily a 2...i guess can play the 3 in a small lineup..have room for 1 more max(whiteside/horford or batum)...jc becomes 3rd guard..lou will/swaggy still under contract for 2 yrs..with a top 3..u have simmmons(3 young PFs on roster/no SF) or ingram(slides into SF immediately and negates the need to max batum) or bender/brown/buddy/whoever
...too many possibilities..gotta get thru the lotto first. Keeping or losing the pick changes the entire approach.

sorry if simmons game has been broken down already 

but is he really a 4? 

can his game translate to a long 3 like batum...(without the shot, which he can work on like batum did)

Simmons is listed as "PF/SF" on draftxpress..has a PF body/point forward skills and limited perimiter abilities.
Based on size alone..i guess he projects as a PF going forward but im sure with julius and nance u can use him in a variety of ways in a variety of lineups(in theory).
 
So we can ONLY sign All Stars?

So, no Whiteside, no Batum, no anybody?

Durant, Horford, or DeRozan are the only All Stars available. And since DeRozan will never be an All Star again.......

Can't wait to see how you plan on building the team limiting who you can sign before day 1 even hits. :lol:
