Of course he's done coaching. We wouldn't have been in this position if he was chosen over the damm Pringles man.

It's funny though that almost every scout and expert has Dlo finishing outside the top5 for ROY

Y'all need to chill on D'Lo.

It's only 1 game. PG is like the hardest position for a rookie.

He's going to have his good and bad games this season.

Kobe, Clarkson, and Randle brought the ball up a lot more than Russell did tonight. Russell did a lot of standing around.

Byron needs to figure what's the move for Russell. They line up with Kobe Russell and Clarkson didn't go well at all. Russell was by far the most uncomfortable.

Could lived with about 5-7 less shots from Kobe. Just hate that so many of his misses were good looks.

I want the guys who are calling out Dlo to go look at rookie point guards first games. Go look at Curry, Westbrook, Nash, Stockton first games.

Jesus Christ the hot takes in here man.

Randle has to learn to play under control

DLo may very well not be that good.

If Kobe wants to shoot 12 3s a game... He can retire tonight. Breh shot us smoove out of a 9 pt lead. Worse half of basketball I've ever seen him play

Everybody else looked SOLID. I want more touches for Roy, more minutes with Swaggy and Marcelo on the floor. They have a nice cohesion out there.

That second unit line up is the truth. Lou, Swaggy, Marcelo, Ryan. I like that. I'd probably run black at the 5 to guard the rim and grab tough boards.

They keys gotta be handed over to Jordan man. Let that boy run the franchise. He has the glo

On the flip side, JC was very good with the ball making decisions/taking shots. So do you want to take the ball out of his hands and give them to DLo to struggle/learn, or let JC flourish

Wrong Byron's line up and rotations at the end of the 3rd and start of the 4th is why the Lakers lost a 15 point lead and the game tonight.

I seriously don't what game you were watching or if you just looked at the box score stats and came to that conclusion that Kobe shot us of the game tonight.

You can also look at about half a dozen great PGs who had great first games

It's not that he had a bad game, it's how he looks out there, ever since summer league. Passive, timid, can't beat his man, doesn't go to the hole, can't take advantage of a slower defender on the pick and roll etc

Give Russell the keys. That's the reason he shot up to being the #2 pick.

I understand that he's a project but he showed nothing today almost seemed like he was scared out there but hopefully bounces back

This. Before the game byron said this is the plan. They want the ball in jc's hands and are gonna ease dlo into lead guard duties

What kills DLo is his inability to get over screens on defense. He got Rubio going early and then we switched him to Martin they ran him off all kinds off ball screens. That boy look like Nash on defense

His bread and butter is his passing (since he doesn't look to get his own shot) which essentially makes him Kendall Marshall
