The tall slender point guards from recent memory like Shaun Livingston (pre injury), MCW, rondo....all had the ability to attack the basket

I'm still hoping to see that from Russell I hope he's more than just a stand still set shot shooter and great passer

Season begins now :pimp:

I do like what I saw from Russell tonight. Clarkson is still doing his thing :smokin . Randle is an ox out there, and no one can stop the dude. Even though we got the win tonight, Byron is still stupid for sitting Russell.

It was great to see MWP still playing defense, and Nance>>>>>>>>>>>Kelly.

Put in some defensive players to play some defensive...its not that complicated.  Byron is so wack...and I cant believe he keeps benching Russell at the end of games.  Prob one of the worst things you can do to a young player.

Mike Bresnahan ‏@Mike_Bresnahan
Laker GM Mitch Kupchak is in NY for tonight's game. He occasionally goes on road trips but I can't remember him ever traveling this early.

Pretty interesting....

Earvin Magic Johnson ‏@MagicJohnson
The Game Ball goes to Coach Scott for playing MWP and Larry Nance Jr, both played good defense.

Can someone tell Magic to shut up :x :x :x :x
So the four losses were on Byron for not playing them
So since Magic is crediting someone for the win, you're suggesting the losses also go to that same person?

Very.

Very.

Interesting.

Crediting someone for the positive only so long as they are also held responsible for the negative.

Is it possible that Magic is right and the credit goes to coach for the W, but the losses were because of other factors? Are those 2 things possible together?

Finally a victory. But Kobe is still struggling with hus shooting... but the main reason this team is not doing well is the bad coaching imo.

Yes, when Byrons dumb *** plays Kelly and Bass and we lose to some sorry teams at home, he gets the blame. Most observers know that Tarik , Nance and Metta would have gotten us wins. BS was too stupid to see that

But hey "Kelly had a good preseason " and he showed loyalty to Bass since they have a history

I was just using Magics logic in reverse, not that I believe it. Funny how magic criticized the hell out of MDA but doesn't say **** about BS when we losing
