I think there is an invisible barrier on the painted area and he needs to activate his trap card. I haven't seen him try and finish at the rim the entire season.

Yea I have literally never seen DLo attempt to drive all the way to the cup. He'd rather pull up in the pant in traffic with a defender on his back than take it to the hole. Thats very concerning.
The boy has no type of athletic ability and he plays out of fear of making mistakes out there.

His inability or reluctance to attack is extremely concerning, mid range shooting is not effective in today's NBA

It can be if you're a knockdown shooter, but he's not proven to be that either, yet. Even just attempting to attack would likely draw another defender and open up the bigs down low for easy looks, that's the most frustrating thing.

MWP while still slow looks faster than he did in 2012-13. Hands are still quick and always get in there. Just the body and legs are slow. Faster in person than on TV.
