E, I hear ya.

But not every team stays stuck in lottery forever. OKC, GS, LAC all got out just fine.

We will too. With or without the pick. With, will just make it that much quicker/easier.

One can just hope we end up churning along late in the season. Get the Cavs special.

And then be done with this.

I'm sick of losing.

We aren't losing, if we're winning the lottery.

You either win the chip, or win the lottery.

Losing games sucks. But if it nets us Randle, Clarkson, Russell, Nance, Top 3 pick and cap space galore, it all becomes worth it once that all develops.
Peep the Smush era. All worth it 2008-2013.

After Magic, 92-96 brought us the eventual core that led to 96-04.

2014-2016 may lead to a 6-7-8 year window of success again, that ain't losing. That's preparation.

Simmons, Skal, Ingram, whoever, just getting an extra young talent gets us more chips with which to work with.

Above everything, I just want good health for these guys. Let em learn the day to day grind, winning/success will come, soon.

I'm sick of losing...but with this team I can't expect wins.

Might as well just let the rook's play, lose games but get that in game experience. I would have rather had Byron draw up the play for DLO on the last play.

Make or miss its experience.

We have played well. Been some close games but we will get murdered out west. No problem. One more pick, Kobe rides off into the sunset and we finally start the new era of Lakers basketball.

What if I were to tell you Nance may be a better long-term fit than Randle?

I'd say Orlando stole the guy Mitch might have really wanted.

Really hope Nance jumps out ala Clarkson, Brown too for that matter. Give us a glut to get creative with.

Good point on Lou getting last shots Tupac.

When does Clarkson/DLo/Russell get a last shot? I wanna see that, not Kobe/Lou/Nick iso's.

You're kidding me right? Aaron Gordon? I'd say Nance will be the better pro then Gordon.

P_matic likes Gordon too, I dont see it yall.. just dont see it.

Randle was the right pick.

I know the numbers are bad they're just ahead of us in defensive efficiency on the season. I meant more so his effort and moving laterally attempting to try and play defense. Like I said before we're already the 29th worst defense in the league, Jah making us 30th doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things right now when he's as dominant as he is on offense already.

randle falling to us was a real blessing

considering the talk of us taking exum if he was there

Half this thread was sad about not getting Vonleh and that dude lookin like a complete bust
true to the fullest.

Won't lie I wanted obviously wiggins, parker, exum, randle.

What's funny is Randle may be the second best player from that draft.

Parker

Exum

Gordon

Smart

Vonleh

alll look suspect right now.

Still think this past years draft is stronger then the wiggins one.

Also, I think Clarkson gets paid this summer, and eventually gets shipped out. The fit isn't right with D'angelo imo.

Fit? Perhaps.

Better player? No.

But you said fit... And I'm just creating an argument for no reason

So long as Randle gets that mid range to even the point Nance has it. He can dominate a game. Where Nance is the better fit is just as a defender. Which was his calling card in college.

Nonetheless we got late lottery talent at # 27

Yes, fit!

SSS, but Nance looks like he can shoot, defend and rebound. I think he has the skills to pass too. All while being insanely athletic.

Nance needs more minutes but I agree that he "fits" better.

His defense being his biggest positive gap over Randle.

Now if Nance had Randle's "dog" ....EGHK

mind you its been a small sample size, and i had no info on who Larry Nance was when we drafted him...but the kid is playing within his role and is making the most of his playing time.

his shot has been falling, and i really want to see this dude fly around on the defensive end blocking shots from the blindside

HPBasketball retweeted an idea. Lou Will for Jeff Green straight up.

Makes sense. Green is an expiring but we also get his bird rights if we want to ship him in a S&T. Yeah I know. It's not happening on the S&T front. But it would open up the minutes for the young guys.

why do we make these stupid signings that we all immediately want to turn around and flip these guys a few months later?

we did the same with Swaggy, we wanted him traded halfway into his first season under that new contract.

how about we just not sign these players? #buss

Vonleh went to Charlotte. Him bein a "bust" ain't his fault.

Kawhi is Kawhi cuz he went to the Spurs. If Philly drafts him, he ain't Kawhi.

I wish we could get our hands on Vonleh before it's too late. Now the Moda Center will take care of him. :smh:
