I thought bigs take time to develop???

Okafor, towns PORZINGIS out here beastin

Dlo and the Lakers brass must be feelin pressure

There's a way to say that KP would have been a nice addition without denigrating D'Angelo. And as E has said, KP was not an ideal fit for us. Not without trading away Julius for pennies on the dollar. That is not what smart FOs do. And in spite of what many of you may think, this FO as it is currently constituted has accomplished more than the vast majority of the league.

Given what we know about KP being third on our list for that draft, Mitch and co. deserve some credit for recognizing the talent on the board and making the most appropriate decision.

we have kobe, clarkson, nick young, randle and lou williams all fighting to chuck shots and bring the ball up the court

but drafting a big would not have been the right fit?

Lou Williams was not here.. That was just a dumb signing... We can all look at that now.

Clarkson was not a Pure Point... Also could have and still play Clarkson in both positions.
Randle is not a PG.
Kobe is gone after this year, so drafting based on him would be foolish. And Nick Young actually fits fine with them, he's also a bench player that does better when he's a catch & shoot.

It could have been the right fit.. But not that one.

So yall think dlo will never improve? Cool.

He will, but seeing him not get by the trap big on offense is alarming, he should be able to turn the corner. I don't think speed is developed nor do I think aggression and the determination to drive to the basket is developed

Hell I remember nick van exels first NBA game like it was yesterday

Dropped like 35 on the defending conference champs Suns at the Forum

Rookies are so soft nowadays

It would be different if he were playing the same way he did at Ohio and just wasn't effective. But we're still seeing him adjust to the pro game. He's "loading"..building his game in phases. His interviews are telling as far as his approach to the game. Talks about getting that midrange jumper down, being the smartest player on the floor etc. We're seeing him get more active as time goes on..patience.

I'm positive that Porkfingaz wouldn't be Porkfingaz if he were a Laker.
I'm positive he would be playing with more energy and effort than dlo if he were a Laker
Agree to agree.

what you guys think of J.Lin playing pretty good with the Hornets?

More talent around.... He's a bit more efficient this year.

But all in all his stats aren't a huge departure from what he did last year.

He also normally tails off as the season goes on.

Hope he does well. He is another of the Byron dog house players.

Mitch thought he was getting LMA. He passed on Oak and KP with that in mind.

He saw the league LOADED with stud PG's and got one for himself, a 6-5 one to boot.

He isn't a finished product, develop doesn't mean 11 games.

AI was ballin in 96, Kobe came out alright.
Steve Nash didn't do **** for years, worked out.
Rubio just torched us 2 weeks ago, kid couldn't make a layup 3 years ago.
Wiggins took a minute to get started.
Kyle Lowry?
Mike Conley.
Tony Parker.

Jordan Clarkson.
