I've found a new pet peeve... Hibbert not playing 4th quarters..

Byron says he'll have the best 5 players play in the 4th.... Maybe, you should put in the best defender, when we get killed every 4th quarter.

Roy gonna have a coronary over there watching Bass play the 5.

There has to be a breaking point where they have to fire him just because it's so out of hand.

Team Tank or Not.. There has to be a point of no return.

4-20? 5-30? This isn't like D Fish where it's a rookie coach and you see if there's improvement next year. This is a guy who has been coaching 10+ years.

I'd move Bass on December 15th. And say look we brought you in for this reason. The plans changed. We had to move you out of position, and it didn't work for you. So to help us, to help you get a better contract in the offseason, we have to trade you.

It's out of hand. Hibbert sitting in the 4th when we need stops, and he's generally playing well.

And to get Tarik Black the burn to develop.


Just take 1 13th man off the bench and a 2nd Round Pick for Bass.


Because in all honesty if Bass got to a playoff team where he could play PF. He'd actually be pretty good.

It was 93-90, nick young shot goes in and out, gets takin out for kb. 101-90 after 4 possessions of kobe ball.

We have a better TEAM than last year that can actually win Games and you are definitely right with Hibbert playing in the 4th(that pick and roll dunk with PlumLee could have been altered with Hibbert Length.. maybe )

We have a coach who has been blessed with game changing point guards and they ran the show and win games. He is actually terrible.

Russell is gaining confidence and showing up more which is a positive thought from the last couple games. He will be a solid 15 and 7 every night by the final third of the season.

Julius is getting big minutes and is one of the players that show heart.

The opening sequence where kb shot 7 of the first 9 shots was frustrating and his teammates don't want to move without the ball or waste energy cuz he's gonna shoot everytime.

I'm home for the holidays so I am watching more with twc and it's frustrating to watch a team that has the tools to pull out wins but the coach sets them up for failure and a guy who thinks his sliders for 2k are at 100 and just shooting 10 more 3s and not getting his teammates involved.

Angry rant, tldr.
Everyone has said what I said in the thread , cosigning with everyone. Able to catch games at home more. Kobe shoots too many shots and 3s. Byron sucks. Dlo and Julius developing.

Durant was always a long shot. And if we somehow luck into our top 3 pick, we honest would have enough young talent to grow a contender from i.e. Warriors. Not saying we are going to be that good, but the foundation would be there.

D'lo, JC, Randle kind of reminds me of young Steph, Monta, David Lee Warrior days. If we get another top3 pick, sign some solid free agents, develop Nance and Brown, I like where we're heading.

All this has to be with Byron Scott all the way the **** out of here of course.

Nance not playing so Kobe can play the 4. That's new. :lol:

In a few weeks I expect Kobe to be worn out and shut down. Metta may not be far behind. That "should" open some minutes for the kids.

Brown in the DLeague and Nance getting DNP's is infuriating.

But whatev, they guys will all be gone soon. Byron, Kobe, Bass, Nick, and Metta.

If we luck into our Top 3 pick and cap space, things will turn around quick.

BTW, IF we do get that pick.......

Top 3 + DLo + Randle + Clarkson + Nance + Brown + unlimited cap space, we become a HUGE coaching destination. (Not to mention, Kobe's presence no longer looming). Should see lot of nice options.
