such a bad sequence of plays by Kobe man, can't he see how much he is hurting this squad man.

We can say Kobe is bad.. We all know he is... But Byron is intent on making it worse.. Much worse.. He's still treating him like he's 27. Running an offense for him like he's 27. Playing him minutes like he's 27.

Yes, Kobe has to pull back, and realize on his own to pull back.. But the coach also has the ability to make him.. But because he won't, alas here we are.

I think based on his recent comments Byron is beginning to feel the pressure of the fans/media and riding Kobe even harder for a chance to win.

“The one thing I’ve always said, and a great old coach told me this a long time ago, when you start listening to the fans, you’ll be sitting with them next,” Scott said.

“I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to fans because fans are fans. Fans aren’t at practice every day. They don’t know the preparation. They don’t know what goes into it. They just see the end product, so they have no idea. And they all have their opinions, but I don’t put a lot of stock into it.

“That’s why I don’t go on my Instagram and all that stuff, because as [she] would tell me, a lot of them are pissed off and hot and all this and then you’ve got some that are very supportive that say, ‘Hey, we know it’s a process. We know it’s going to take a few years.’ But this is L.A. You want to win right away.”

D'lo is nice, with each game that goes on he seems to get better.

He's a good rebounder as well.

Coming around on Hassan Whiteside max... But also re-signing Roy Hibbert long term for a similar contract he signed 4 years ago.

Just would like the dynamics.. Like what Roy brings not just for himself, but what he would bring for Whiteside & Russell / Randle / Clarkson.

Also would get you out of worrying about Whiteside's FT shooting because if you wanted to Hack-A-Hassan, you can take him out, put in Roy.. You lose the athleticism, but retain your defense around the rim.

And you could do all that, all while preserving cap space for the big fish in 2016, and if he were to pass (could spend 85% of the cap space in 2016 left after Hibbert & Whiteside), and have a max or near max in 2017.

I'm all for maxing out Whiteside.

My only contingency is as long as Roy Hibbert is back as well, as I posted above.

No Roy, it makes me a little more weary on Whiteside because of the FT shooting... That could really disrupt a team that tries to get the ball and run.

Also want to keep his leadership with the young guys, that is well worth it. You need somebody who will light a fire, and has years in already.

Also, it wouldn't impact the ability to sign anyone at all, so long as they are smart elsewhere.

I can't turn away from this train wreck of a season, just 15 games in

So sad about what Buss has done to this team, from Brown to MDA TO $48 M to Byron, colossal mismanagement
