it's part of the problem when you shoot 5/26 in the 4th. The lack of plays are what killed them on the offensive end. It may have worked the first 3 quarters, but you cannot rely on these type of shots in the 4th.

Defensively...playing both Randle and Kelly probably wasn't a good idea, but maybe Byron will wake up at 4am and realize this

I don't know why Byron has Bass playing the 5 with the 2nd unit, he isn't a 5. I would rather have a line up of Huertas/Lou/Young/Kelly/Black.

Kobe playing in the second game of a back to back? If not, can't wait to see the players do without him. Let the young guys flourish.

I'm more concerned about our defense letting a non jump shooting mediocre pg like rubio eat us alive in 4th quarter...
give rubio some f****** credit man ( word to Phil)
for all we know, dude put the work in over the summer

Nah people here don't give credit to opponents for playing well, they only dish out blame.

Rubio shooting like Glen Rice in people's grills all night was Byron's fault.

I'm glad you guys see the promise in Russell, because honestly i'm starting to become more and more skeptical. It isn't because of one game, I saw him in summer league, saw him in preseason, and now this game, i'm not saying he's a bust, but he's exhibiting the same things over and over.

He seems extremely slow out there and hesitant, his jump shot which would be something he could fall back on is very suspect, and he just seems confused out there.

He really needs to work on his shot, I think that will carry him through until he gets a grasp of the offense and NBA tempo.

It also really sucks when you see someone like Jahlil get 26 first game out, but I have faith he will figure things out.

Go Lakers (flame suit on)
We can't do anything about Kobe and Byron right now, it is what it is.

Kobe chucking does **** up the rhythm and development but either way, these kids are growing out there one way or another.

who cares we lost man, we ain't a playoff team  Byron won't be our coach long term, and Kobe's hanging them up in a year (or 2) max. Just look forward to the positives man.
Keep reminding of all those points all season, man.

Solid points.

No sarcasm. Dead serious.

- Kobe messes up the rhythm, but...
- ... gone in a year or 2, tops.
- Byron is who he is.
- Short-term, anyways.
- Despite those points, newbs are developing nicely.
- Not a playoff team anyways.

Run with that. I appreciate that. :D

I'm glad you said no sarcasm because honest to god I was already expecting sarcasm as soon as I saw you quote me

But if you're Srs then sure, I'll be more than happy to remind everyone of such points more often :nerd:

I wish some of you would pay more attention to the positives.

Kobe and Byron, or not, we got talent that's going to develop into something good over the next few seasons.

We can't do anything about Kobe and Byron right now, it is what it is.

Either way we ain't winnin more than 29 games this year max. So stop worrying about the L and enjoy the flashes of greatness we saw in our young talent.

They took Roy out the game cause the 1-5 pick and roll was eating us up

People hating on Nick Young... Swaggy was our best performer. 5-8 from the floor, 14 in 19mins, played within the offense, and even got after it on defense. Let that hurt go

And idk what DLo is offensively b/c I haven't seen him do anything but toss a flashy pass every now and then. Defensively I know he's pretty bad on that end especially laterally

rarely does the clown nick young play like that though. he was the most efficient one on the court last night. lets see how he follows that up.
