Being that I'm in banking, the fact that your friend shared this type of information, then you proceed to share with us, is all types of wrong from a compliance perspective

Wouldn't be surprised at all though.

Yep, he was basically whispering it to me and when he told me he had this look of regret on his face like he knew he shouldn't have said anything

Ohhh that Hercules.

What are you doing there?

I'm on call all weekend so I'm not sure I can head down to the bay tonight man.

Also I do not own a musket.
Nothing, I'm from the city just a nice meeting point.

Usually go to Lakers vs. Warriors games, but prices are outrageous now and warrior fans suck. Thought I'd give Sacramento a shot, never again.
oh okay, well if you ever want to meet in the city that'd be cool too.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience in Sac tho, I hope you have a good Halloween and a great weekend man.

@BaxterHolmes Lakers coach Byron Scott on Kobe Bryant: "If he tries to take over every single time, then it’s not going to do [our young players] any good. You’ve got to see what they’re made of."

Lakers: Byron Scott says team was “fatigued” in loss to Sacramento

After watching the tape of last night’s 132-114 loss to Sacramento, Lakers head coach Byron Scott found an unusual culprit aiding his team’s defensive struggles. Fatigue.

It’s a bit unusual to hear that two games into the regular season and something Scott said he hadn’t noticed in years past coaching.

But upon review and talking with the team, tired legs may have been a factor in the team falling behind by as many 31 last night.

“What I did see was guys making the effort but they just looked fatigued,” Scott said.

The Kings did their part by scoring 33 fastbreak points and wearing down the Lakers with 80 points in the paint. With a long season ahead, Scott added he would look into making adjustments to keep his team fresh and play with more energy.

“Maybe shorter practices, shorter walkthroughs but like I told them, a lot of it depends on them as well,” Scott said, “A lot of time with young guys, you need repetition more than anything so it’s a catch-22.

Maybe if Byron didn't do so many conditioning drills, the team wouldn't be fatigued two games into the season.

He won't bench him tho.

Benching him isn't the answer. Like it or not. Clarkson, Russell & Randle still need vets out there with him.

What the problem is, is he doesn't call a coherent offense. Has no flow. Which leads to ISOs and not just by Kobe.

The answer is to start running sets and not just have a 'get yours' offense.

He's the coach put a stop to it! Damn I love kobe but he needs to retire or take no more than 10 shots a game with no threes

My old bank did the loan for One of the USC coaches and we saw his finances and it's true you see all the contracts and all that stuff. So I wouldn't be surprised at all.
I'm a credit analyst so I'm still learning goal is to be a loan officer.

Upshaw has a lot of potential. Should have been on the roster, just to make sure we can keep him. But even if he was on the roster, he's not ready.

Bottom line, it's not any one thing that's wrong, there's a lot of moving parts to what's wrong with us.
Flat out just need to keep everyone healthy and let them learn.

In time, Kobe will be gone, Scott will be gone, and the young guys will have a lil more experience. Then Jim/Mitch can and will bring some parts in that compliment the young guys.

Won't be an overnight thing, obviously.

We all know KD is a long shot, but with a little Golden State thrifty luck (knowin they need to pay Steph soon) maybe we can pry Barnes, add Horford, and really luck into keeping our top 3 pick.

Hibbert/Horford
Randle/Nance
Barnes/Brown
Clarkson/Top 3 pick

Pretty sexy. :smokin

I worry about any long term impact Byron has on Russell. It genuinely seems like he has a really antagonistic disposition towards particular players.

The essence of this post seems mighty familiar.

Doesn't it darthska darthska ?

1st off Kobe should be taking 17-18 shots per game. Its all about energy and efficiency with that guy. There offense is doomed if they keep up this iso-Kobe ball whenever they want to get
him a shot. I'm sorry, he is not athletic enough anymore to just straight out catch the rock mid-post, attempt to give the defender 2-3 dribble back downs, a shimmy, then turn over either should and fadeaway jumper in the guys grill. No no no thats terrible. He is not young enough, fast enough or athletic enough to think those are still his go to moves. That just takes too long to set up cuz usually the defender has pushed his old *** out further than he is comfortable with, out towards the corners....everybody is just looking at him, no flow to the game, no energy. Just a straight stagnant offense.
Thats the main issue. Too much thinking out there about a crap offense.

Byron needs to be gone soon. You can't preach defense when you are the worst at teaching it

To be honest I really like the make up of this team as a young team moving forward. I am just don't like the person directing the ship.
Jim/Mitch need to not give a crap about the media or whats gonna be said about us firing and paying another coach, just do what needs to be done. The writing is on the wall. I mean you have to give the
man a whole season with this roster. But realistically he needs to be gone this off season.

I think this team will get its senses about them 10 games into the season tho. There is no give up in them and they are lowly talented so I suspect things will minutely turn around at least. Nothing of significance tho.

Gonna have to agree with the herd here. This roster is a tricky one to coach and byron isn't the one to inspire confidence. I applaud him for calling out kobe tho, that needed to be addressed and he didn't sugar coat it

This team actually has an identity : "old ball hog & the wannabe head coach completed with a bunch of young noobs".

They are like the Millennium Bulls, a mere shadow of the haydays :frown:

The more I watch Julius the more I see things that I like. He has a motor that's matched by very few in the league already and he gets into the paint at will. Just has to learn how to finish over length and size, and given the fact that he's only played 3 NBA games, it's not out of the realm of possibility that that skill will come.
