Why isn't there an option in the poll that shows less than 14 games? :\

I can't vote if the options not available.

Went to the game.. you could see the frustration in kobes face...

Its been a nice run kob..

Randle tho

The last 3 years remind me of the mid 90s Lakers pre Shaq and Kobe..Bad coaching, clueless defense, players not fitting together, bad front office decisions on draft picks..The 2 bright spots I see is randle and clarkson...If they don't get rid of Scott and Jim Buss they will leave..Sad watching Kobe go out like this..

Those teams made playoffs and beat Sonics in first round one year, I think they missed the playoffs one year and made the playoffs 4 years (post Magic pre Shaq)

Mudiay situation is definitely different, dude has been given the green light to do whatever he wants and you can clearly see it.

Russel has not.

So, Elden Campbell, Anthony Peeler, George Lynch, Nick Van Exel and Eddie Jones?

I'mmmmmm thinkin you don't really remember pre 96.

That wasn't bad coaching either, it was a team transitioning. Older vets like Worthy, Scott, AC Green, younger guys like Vlade, and the picks I named, Sedale Threat, and Cedric Ceballos brought in, etc.

They lost their elite player in Magic, and started to restock the team leading up to signing Shaq. There was not poor coaching, and bad drafts, etc. Sorry.

I'm 43 so yes I remember those teams and saw them live. Del harris was a bad coach...Why do you think they dumped him and roster..

.... and Lou Williams may be worse for the growth of our youngins than NY.... and thats saying something.

Why is he playing so many minutes?

To be fair this was Lou Williams worst game to me, like if it wasn't for the free throw line dude wouldn't have had any points. He missed like every shot last night

K, then you remember that Del was there WITH Shaq, Kobe, etc.

You said pre Shaq era. And mentioned poor drafting. So you're either misremembering, or misgoogling.

43?

Somehow no one gonna care and still call me the vet around here. :smh:

Well if we keep this pick this year which is looking more likely and D'Lo hasn't figured much of by the end of next season he'll be expendable.

So if we're drafting someone at number two he should be lightning quick he should be a great passer he should have all of that if you just gonna lay back in the cut and dish out passes he might be a very good serviceable point guard but he's not number two pick worthy
All of this !!!people are happy with drafting a Conley @ #2 when we could have drafted a Duncan makes no sense

Numbers of Lakers coaches up to Phil from 1992..six.. Google draft picks up until Vlade traded for Kobe..Real quality there..Yes del got fired with Shaq but he and van exel fought constantly..

Whatever I like clarkson and randle..I've been looking can't find out why metta isn't playing at all..

I think the comment was made more about the rate at which Conley and some other point guards developed. Their skill sets aren't really similar.

I don't have to Google them, I already named them to you. Your point was wrong, sorry.

You certainly can say it was a rough era, no doubt, but poor coaching, poor draft picks is an inaccurate account. That's not what happened.

BTW, Shaq chose LA in part because of those young draft picks.
