Kobe shot overall 6 of 19 from the field (2 of 10 from the arc) and now even 4 of 7 from the ft line?
What is he thinking? Trying to be like shaq at the line?
Why is he pulling the trigger so often at the arc despite he sucks at that range this season?
Byron Scott is incompetent to make adjustments.

Really concerned about Dlo being a bust

Ya it's been 6 games but he doesn't pass the eyeball test

The skills I would expect for a # 2 pick are not there
Most people won't admit it till 2-3 years pass ....to me the lakers took the L already drafting him set us back even more

I really wish people would stop thinking about DLo as the "#2 PICK," and think about him as the 19 year old.

He's a LONG TERM point guard for us. He isn't going to develop in 6 games guys. He won't develop in 6 months.

He needs years to hit the weights, train, condition, practice, learn and develop. YEARS.

This is a horrible brand of basketball and it's the wrong way to play

We have young athletic players on the floor watching a 37 year old launch contested threes

I see what you're saying, but Idc how old he is. I want a 19 year old who is aggressive and cocky and in attack mode when a 34 year old is guarding him, we make excuses for him when he has attacked the paint TWICE in six games and both times pulled up for a floater

In all honesty, if we are benching players to win the game, Kobe should've been benched as well a long time ago
True. But thats a diff argument. Kobe had a relatively nice game. Cant blame it on Bean.
What game were you watching?

Kobe had 4 pts to start the 4th then went back to his normal chucking and no defense.

Russell definitely needs to control the offense, he was trying to feed Kobe instead of looking for his own or creating.

With that being said, I still see potential in him especially when Kobe is gone and its just Clarkson and Russell running the offense.

Also had 3steals and 5 rebounds, really didn't think he had a bad game. Needs to be more aggressive.

THANK YOU.

This is still a new world to DLo and it will be for a while.

A lot of people are timid, confused about their roles, worried about stepping on toes when they start a new job.

And this is the kid's first major job out of college, basically. He may not be showing the type of aggressiveness you want yet, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have it.

Plus, if he is still figuring out his place on the court... Things like that Kobe possession and him running on the wing while Lou Williams brings up the ball and initiates the offense are not helping.

To me he's a bust already shows no heart gets beat by every PG he's matched up with shows no flashes of anything

Okafor really would have been the best pick. He like Kobe, Clarkson and Randle could just shoot freely with no repercussions because he's not a PG.

Not gonna turn on Russell just yet. He just played 6 games but I feel like he already played half the season based from the comments here.

Give the kid some time to adjust to the game. Plus we have a lot of players on this team who needs the ball just as much so that's not really helping him.

He's here for the long run so let's just root for the kid. Hope he reach his potential.

The thing is he hasn't shown flashes of anything in summer league pre season and now regular season ..lol next year I'm going to to hear "he only has 1 season under his belt give him 1 or 2 more years"

Kobe still being on the team ruins D'Angelo's development 100x more than Byron Scott's coaching does.

He won't fully get a chance to learn the NBA game until Kobe's old crippled chucking *** retires... And I say that with the upmost respect for my favorite player of all time.

But DLo being out of the game for crucial minutes of the game doesn't mean much right now, because Kobe gonna chuck the shots either way.

So as far as the "he won't learn unless he plays" argument goes... I'm not so sure being in the game 5 minutes longer will make that much of a difference in the short term when you're playing with THIS Kobe.

What kind of "flashes" do you want to see right now to prove to you he's not a bust?

so we have something to reference next season.

Well since he hasn't shown anything how about just make some damn plays show some heart play with confidence and I'll be happy ......and why can't we see him as the #2 pick? Pretty sure mostly everyone saw kwame as a waste @#1

Some of you are the sports equivalent to "Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?"

We can't do anything about Kobe and Byron right now, it is what it is.

Kobe chucking does **** up the rhythm and development but either way, these kids are growing out there one way or another.

who cares we lost man, we ain't a playoff team  Byron won't be our coach long term, and Kobe's hanging them up in a year (or 2) max. Just look forward to the positives man.
 Kidding aside, I think the extra five minutes could make a difference. I think he could get into more of a rhythm with a few minutes added to every stint - this in spite of Kobe's ridiculousness.

And if we're talking about flashes, D'Angelo has shown plenty in my opinion. But I guess if he's not killing it, he's Kwame Brown.
