I'm on mobile but Baxter Holmes just tweeted something that Byron said.

"I'm not going to throw him to the wolves, per se, just because he's the No. 2[overall] pick."

This guy

Dude is rolling the damn balls out there and somehow he's a prime coaching candidate.

Y'all musta forgot how dumb a player be was, my fan card may get turned in if they hire Puke Walton for anything other than a studio show.

Remember when Mike Brown guys like Ettore Messina, Steve Clifford and Quinn Snyder on his staff?

Scott Brooks was inept with a loaded roster, what do you think he's going to do with a sorry young one.

Preferably Ollie would be the guy but we're a train wreck of an organization so I don't think it's going to be an attractive job anyway.

What exactly don't you like about him?

Ollie and Luke were both smart role players and great locker room guys with no NBA coaching experience.

Luke's basketball IQ has to be one of the biggest myths in the history of the league if you watched him play.

not that luke is any good, more of how bad byron is at this point.

I think most great players, don't make great coaches, because they don't understand why players aren't that good or how to develop or have any patience.  because many of them are just gifted or naturally skilled and talented its hard for them to have a connection with less talented players.

but many sub par players make excellent coaches  - LUKE

on the court he was decent until he got a big contract then he was pretty garbage.  def agree with that.

We might as well lure Pat Riley back by firing Jim Buss, Mitch, and Byron and say "here's the keys to franchise" build & coach us back to contender status for the next 10 years...

But please don't die on us since your like 70 years old already

Just not another retread coach man. That's all I want, someone fresh.

Then the only options are someone from the college level like Tom Izzo, Coach K, Kevin Ollie, Jim Boeheim, or Steve Fisher.

Only other option then is Luke Walton.

No Luke Walton should never be an option. They're plenty of other assistants in the league Ty Lue for example more seasoned and ready to assume a head coaching job.

I see.

I dont think russell and clarkson play well together to be honest. Hell even Randle wants to be PG at times. Seemed like clarkson is more comfortable playing as the primary pg.

Maybe put one of them with the 2nd unit.

Yea finding out if they can play together is huge but I don't think you can make a decision either way until they're playing under a competent coach.

They both can shoot well enough to play off ball and both can be deadly in pick n roll. Could def work with the right coach.

He looks in control and aggressive. But let's see if he's still in the game...

Edit: and he is :wow:

More aggression shown in these 1st 6 minutes than all the previous games from D'Lo. Hopefully he keeps it up.
