TT, your words don't mean **** in here anyways so go ahead with your ridiculous predictions.

But, in fairness, your word means more than Magic's, so that's somethin.

The Lakers dodged some serious bullets in 2014....

Embiid is a walking injury, and if you thought Russell was nonchalant, you guys would kill Embiid. Still maybe he could turn it around, but with Jahlil and Noel there now, he's put into a weird position of will he get enough playing time to ever reach his actual potential.
Stauskas is horrible, and even at his best, wouldn't be worth a pick in the lottery.
Exum was not good in his first year, which is fine. But then tore his ACL. So that could become a problem.
Vonleh is even worse than he was last year.

Gordon, Payton & Smart have all contributed something, but over a year, none of them are really better nor have the long term ceiling that Randle has (Gordon could, but at best I really see him mirroring Randle if he reaches potential). Despite having at least a half to full season more of experience than Randle.

Then throw in Clarkson, who if they were to re-draft, is a Top 10 pick, easily.

Really all depends where you put Wiggins, to determine whether that statement is true or not.

If you consider Wiggins a 2, then no.

If you consider Wiggins a 3, then he isn't wrong.

Even if you put Wiggins at the 2. Then the Lakers drafted 2 of the Top 3 guards of the last 2 drafts.

yes

Clarkson and who's the second guard?

Russell.. Let's not be facetious here.

The only competition he has is Payton, Smart & Mudiay.

Smart has been good on defense, and occasional overall good game. But for the most part does nothing on offense that he could have based on what could have been projected for him. I actually really like Smart, thought he'd be able to put up some easy offensive stats as a strong PG, but so far he hasn't. Doesn't rebound, doesn't facilitate particularly well. Doesn't shoot or score well either.

For all this Mudiay is more aggressive talk, Russell has been better than him in almost every category. Except for PPG & APG. Where Russell scores much more efficiently, and with less effort and forcing. And Russell protects the ball more. So if we're going to talk about how Russell is struggling this and that... Then what's Mudiay doing if based on almost everything you look at, he's not playing better than Russell.

Payton you may actually have a case for. Because he gets his assists and doesn't turn the ball over much. Good rebounder. Passable on defense. But has found a point that now he's struggling more than he did in his rookie season to become a threat for anything scoring wise. Even despite his 3 pointers being respectable at 35%

Skal > Simmons at the 4 if we want to draft a 4

Ingram and Brown may be better at the 3 for us than Simmons will be.

We can't have 4 ball-dominant players... I'm sorry one if not 2 would have to go (bench or trade)

I like Simmons, I don't mean to diss his ability but lets be smart about this.... Russell best ability(handle/vision/passing) is also Simmons, Can we get a guy that can has a different skill set than the guys we have? Brown and Ingram will be better scorers and defenders...book it.

So sweeping declarations can be made in the positive but not the negative regarding 14 games. I see.

No. That's not what's being said at all..

You are just irrational with every passing thing you say about Russell. That's why people often argue with you about it.

You also started it in the pre-season as well. Which doesn't help your case.

What is being said is 14 games in he's a better player than Mudiay.. Statistically. Doesn't mean it will stand up. But currently he has played better.

And for all the stuff being said about him. No passion, no fire, cut eyebrows, he's not aggressive, he's a diva. Etc. etc. He's still performing as well, if not better than all of those other guys. Which is pretty good considering he "has no passion" "is not aggressive." etc. etc. So things are looking up for him if you want to project out what he has if it does start clicking for him.

All of that, and none of those players have to play on a team where Kobe, Swaggy, Lou, Clarkson & Randle need the ball.. And none of those guys have to deal with Byron Scott stinking it up as coach...

Your case against dlo has been crumbling by the game. You been awful quiet lately

Once you gave him your seal of approval I knew the lakers got themselves a good one :pimp:

Well I didn't watch the last game until the 3rd qtr, so I didn't see what he did early on. Box score SAS decent for once so that makes what 4 "good" games outta 14?

The first time I'll care about a Clippers fan's opinion will be the last time.

You do know the alternative to Russell & Hibbert is Rondo & Okafor right?

Certainly what's the worst that could happen there.
