Russell not playing again tonight... getting a little annoyed about this.

I understand being cautious, but all this for a boo boo meh.

What it makes me think is that he may have been initially misdiagnosed. I don't trust this medical staff anymore after the past few years of treatment and I hope we hire the best possible staff after Vitti retires.

Contusions can be crazy painful. It doesn't really make sense to play him in useless games.

If he re-injures the muscle or tears something then we'd be in here *****ing about how he should have never been in there

Definitely, I understand the decision. I'm just impatient wanting to see Russell play.

Exactly. Should be glad he's sitting out with the way they handled julius last year

Man, it would be nice if the Lakers could trade one of Sacre/Black and Kelly for a SF. Kobe and Swaggy are too small, MWP may not make the roster (and even if he does, he's slow) and Brown isn't quite ready.

D'Angelo may play tonight after all. Will give it a go during shootaround and go from there.

Yea kinda hard to be encouraged. This other team is garbage. Isn't this the team Farmar was playing for?

Clarkson's Obama fade is byke

Barkley was 6'5
There is another guy with damn near the exact same measurements he compares favorably with tho
If Randle becomes a beast on the boards could he become Chuck 2.0?
He's not off to the best start to becoming Chuck 2.0, but that's fine, because there are literally dozens of other versatile PFs that have had perfectly fine NBA careers.

Some of then have gone on to win championships.

You're starting to think in terms of competing again. :nerd:

Welcome back.

Russell/Randle going to start attracting talent soon, real soon...... Can't wait.

Don't forget Clarkson. That boy got a different kind of confidence about him this year. It shows. He has slowed way down. So sure of himself. :smokin

I'd trade Black... That QO on top of Clarkson's may end up not worth it.

Because say we end up using all of our cap long term, and then Clarkson + Black command $17mil combined.... You used up all the 2017 cap, or ended up using just enough of the cap of 2017 that you can't sign someone with salary cap space, and you don't have the Mid-Level Exception.

Even if trading Black is a means to a salary dump of Nick Young to a playoff team for a end of the bench guy that the team doesn't even use, I'd do it for 2016 salary cap purposes.
