Should have won? They shot 37%, didn't deserve anything, Pels threw the game at the end.

Should have won as in a scheduled win. Like I said it was a game we could win a few days ago.

Just like the Jazz game should have been a scheduled win. Jazz got an extremely ugly win, and only highlights how bad we played.

That Pelicans team sans AD is really bad.

With AD they likely beat us. Sans AD they really are as bad as we are.

Good to see Randle, Nance, Brown, Clarkson close the game, but what the **** with DLo not gettin in on that? :smh:

Bad rotation.. He brought in D'Angelo at 5:45 in the 3rd. And didn't get him rest when he needed too.

If he's not going to start him....

Has to reconfigure the rotation to get Russell to finish the 3rd. And miss start of 4th to about the 7min mark, and then bring Russell in again to close the game.

Happy about the win. A game they should have won anyway.

Again, if they keep the pick, it will end up being luck.
losing increases our odds (increases how "lucky" we are)
I could not give a **** less.

Part of me would enjoy that we get the 2nd worst record and lose the pick anyway to hear all the drivel.
so you care more about being "right" than what's best for the lakers?

Nope.. I could care less either way.. Right or wrong... When I'm wrong, I always own up to it. Being wrong means nothing to me.

Remember it's a coin flip at # 2 anyway. Don't assume we'll get the "solid." So personally, I don't care where we finish in terms of record. I cared last year. Don't care this year.

a coin flip is pretty good

a 50% shooter is a great shooter

50% at another talented young player is way better than like 14%

The Lakers have some good players. They will win some games. This will make some people very upset, but you really can't lose every game.

They're going to pass anywhere between 1-3 of Nets, Suns, Nuggets, Pelicans & Wolves..Last 3 are unlikely, but are a Gallo, extended AD & Rubio injury away from dropping quick. It's inevitable, just live with it. And let it roll, whatever happens, happens.

with that logic, once we are good again why root for wins? if a team beats us in the playoffs who cares? just live with it

Yeah rooting for loses, is slightly different than rooting for wins.. But okay.

That's the spirit.

its the same thing. root for what will get to the desired outcome

there is no difference between rooting for losses and rooting for wins, sometimes you need the team to win games sometimes you need the team to lose games

if you root for the team to lose..and they lose..you win? but if they win..you lose?

aight.

The tank has been in effect the last two seasons, don't know why all of a sudden it's taboo now. The reward possibly at the end could be the best yet.

Go watch the first 15 or so minutes of Silver Screen & Roll's postgame video.. And that will sum my entire position up.

Some of you need that refresher math course again...

This is not last year, this is the young guys winning games.

There is no guaranteeing the pick. Like there was last year.

This is not a team devoid of talent, or pieces going forward who are spoiling things. I.e. Jeremy Lin.

Nonetheless, we're already locked up into second at best. So it's a slightly weighted coin flip in our favor. The young guys have been the reason for much of the wins in the past month. The Sixers are not catching us, no matter what we do.

So I'm not sure what the hell you want them to do? Cut everybody, don't play the young guys, and instead play Huertas-MWP-Brown-Kelly-Sacre for 48minutes?

It's become obnoxious. Because you guys want your cake, you want to eat it, you want seconds and thirds, but don't want to gain any weight.

Even CP who is king tank realizes there's not much you can do when the young guys are winning games. He even says well that stinks, butttt hell at least it was the young guys. Some of you have taken the way CP argues and put it on steroids.

As for the reward may be the best yet... Remember finishing 2nd worst is a 45% chance 3x worse than it was for us losing the pick last year, and I don't need to remind you what the 2nd worst team Knicks ended it, so it could also be the worst yet. And alsoooooooooooooooo if we finish 3rd in the lottery, which is 1% less likely than finish #2 in the lottery, then what? Simmons & Ingram off the board.. Then where you going?

If they lock in # 2 worst record and lose the pick? You guys will piss & moan about losing the pick.

So I'm not going to complain about the young guys being the main reason for the wins. For something that is essentially a coin flip. It's a tired exercise.

And unlike last year, if they lose the pick... They'll still be fine.

Do I want them to keep the pick? Of course. But it's also not the end of the world nor does it kill our franchise if they lose it. I'd rather let them play. They win, I'm happy. They lose, I shrug it off and figure out why this time.
