Off to bootleg that episode... And yes, obviously non-white's have it worse off... Not even a question about how much easier white people have it as a whole...
But the NYPD is especially self serving in relation to all the other self serving police forces... I've heard so many horror stories about the NYPD and except for one person, they were all white... Except that one black guy who got beat and hospitalized by them... Got a settlement... That you helped pay for... I could never live in a city like that...

Right cause the city just became like that in the last decade or so... It's been this way since the early 1900's b. It's the biggest city so naturally they have the biggest force (30k + the size of a small countries army, matter fact the nypd could invade some countries in Latin America) Any time a mayor or governor says anything or try's to make changes, the nypd and Union vilify them like they did in the 80's when the mayor wanted a citizen run complaint center or recently with de blasio. It's an army of its own. NYC still the goat city.

I won't lie, though. I agree with Brenda, but solely on fascination. I would like to make the transition to see how it is. I admire their culture(s)...for the most part. I just don't understand why it's so expensive.

Nobody understands why it's so dam expensive. And I've meet Cali transplants even worked with one that found it difficult to transition to life here. Eventually ended moving back west or south. It's not easy man. Tv amd movies don got everybody thinking its a episode of a white tv sitcom where everything is cool and life is great. Have yet to see 1 accurate depiction of middle class nyc youth. Maybe how to make it but them dudes got money way to frequent for their struggle brand.
