Deadly Shooting Reported on Northern Arizona University's Flagstaff Campus

am i reading a different story than the rest of NT? while the shooting took place on campus, its not exactly the same as other mass shootings on campus. this one sounds like there was an altercation of some sort and one of the combatants escalated the situation when he drew and started firing. hell, this murderer just did what some NTers are saying they would do (stay carrying in case **** pops off).

cats need to clap themselves instead of shooting up the masses

2 shootings on the same day smfh RIP. They need to allow guns on campus it's getting out of hand.

Is this considereda mass shooting or more of a shooting on a school campus seems like this isn't like any other shooting that's happen dudes fight and someone turned out to be about that life

But they also have a job to do.

Where I have an issue is the media members who would rather be first to report something than get all the facts. That's my problem. Them reporting actual news, not so much.

I def understand that.

What my problem is...is not that they report it, but the fact that they glorify/romanticize these shooters. They give em way too much coverage/attention. It just inspires other people to do the same.

That infuriates me more than anything.

its a business, their job is to get viewers

as much as you hate how they glorify this stuff

if channel A is showing the downtown puppy parade, and channel B is giving you details about a mass murder, you're going to be watching channel B

Channel A is losing out because no one is watching their programming and they need to make money so they start covering the shooter too.

the media is driven by what people want to watch

It is a shooting in a school. It is a big deal no matter how you look at it. Unless of course the shooting takes place in a low income area/neighborhood, then most of society will not care.

Dave chappelle was right we should make every form of ammunition crazy expensive. Ak 47 with the ammo to mow down a small village is cheaper than one semester of school. Rest in peace to students

Another shooting happened in Texas University just a few hours after Arizona. Crazy :frown:

Texas southern was either a robbery gone wrong or some beef. Last thing on our minds is killing fellow college students with mass murder.
